Tom Arnold and wife reveal infertility issues
Actor Tom Arnold and his wife Shelby have revealed their infertility problems in a People feature article this week. I think this is important to mention, because you don’t often see males, especially male celebrities, discussing their infertility issues publically.
Tom reveals that he has a low sperm count and motility-how the sperm move toward the egg. He found this out in college, while attempting to donate semen at a fertility clinic. He discusses his inability to have children with first wife Roseanne, and he and Shelby’s 5 IVF attempts, none of which have been successful so far. They are currently taking a break from cycling, and intend to try again in 2006.
