Ledger family out and about in NYC

Tags: Babies

Penny Lane at Oh No They Didn't has posted some cute photos of Heath Ledger and his 7 1/2 month old daughter Matilda Rose waiting for fiancee and mom Michelle Williams to come out of a store. They all then continue walking together. Matilda's getting so big!

Thanks to CBB readers Natalie and Kate.

Matilda is a little cutie. Michelle looks like she could do with a large piece of the chocolate cake I just made.

Matilda is adorable! Michelle looks very thin.

Matilda is very cute! Michelle has definitely shed all of her pregnancy lbs.. She looks like a size 0-2 now.

Michelle looks to have lost more than the baby weight. Wow. She should gain some of it back.

But the photos are cute. Matilda's gotten too big. I still remember when she was just a little, itty bitty thing. :)

That has to be one of the cutest families around. Matilda (I wonder if they ever call her Tilly or Mattie) is too perfect, I love the way they dress her like an actual baby (not some mini version of them) and skip over the all pink stuff (moderation is key :D). 2 Things though, the other site w/ the pictures said Heath didn't know how to hold a baby, but to me he looks great, really attached and many of us (me included) are comparing Michelle's current weight with her Dawson's Creek days when she was much younger. Just comparing myself, I've dropped 10 lbs since the show aired for no other reason than I've grown up.

She is soo chunky!

I still think she lost TOO much weight. I was proud of her for not being another stick thin actress, and getting away with it.

Matilda's a chunky little kid, though! she's so big already!!

I enjoy coming here and seeing the pics, etc....but why does every thread have to turn into a criticism of what a person should/shouldnt be doing or how much weight they have gained/lost, or their clothing styles, etc......? It's getting a bit old, in my opinion....I don't think thats what this site is intended for.....just my humble opinion...

Courtney, Sarah and Danielle usually remove any objectionable posts. Unlike other sites where people do rip people to shreds over their appearance, it's not actually allowed on this site. In saying that though, I guess if everyone posted the same comments as "the baby is so cute" or "the parent's look great" it would soon get boring. It's a little hard to hold back when someone has lost a lot of weight or is wearing something odd. We just leave it up to Danielle and Sarah to moderate.

Did Heath and Michelle ever say when they were planning on getting married? I'm just curious...I know they are "engaged", but just like Tom and Katie, it seems like a long engagement...Maybe that is the way to go though! (Personally I could care less if they marry or not - it's a technicality as far as I'm concerned and a couple's choice, but it always seems weird to me when a couple announces an engagement and then essentially functions as a married couple but then never goes through with what they announced! Then again, my brother and his now-wife were engaged for 3 years before getting married and had been living together for years...so I guess everyone is on their own time table...I just was curious if they ever announced when they were planning on marrying? They seem like a solid couple who are good for each other from what they've said of each other publicly.

as far as I've seen and heard, Michelle and Heath are in NO hurry to marry. Heath was heard saying "she's my soulmate. i dont need a piece of paper to validate that". they apparently already refer to each other as husband and wife.

The Cruise's are in a little bit more of a hurry, but they also dont see the big deal. Tom was quoted as saying "in so many ways, we feel like we ARE already married". he's also called Katie his soulmate. one time, Tom called her his wife and corrected himself. he said "my wife..i mean my fiancee".

I think both couples are just happy to be TOGETHER.

When you have failed marriages/relationships behind you, it's certainly understandable to not want to rush into marriage again. I think that may be the case with Tom Cruise, perhaps even with Angelina and Brad too. Maybe they feel like why mess with something that is working so well the way it is?

As for Heath. He hasn't been married before, has he? Regardless, he may feel like things are fine the way they are.

I'm a bit traditional myself, so I do like the idea of marriage, but I certainly don't think it's necessary. As long as these couples are providing stable & loving homes for the kids, I think that's all that matters. 8)

I absolutely agree, gargoylegurl. that logic has often occured to me, too, when i think of the Cruises', and the Pitt-Jolie's.

heath's never been married, but Michelle's mother was her father's second marriage, and they are now divorced. maybe that's why she doesnt think marriage will make a difference.

I also do like the idea of marriage, but marriage doesnt gurantee anything. if the Cruises are happy, (which no doubt they are), why mess with a good thing?

I really love this couple. They are really perfectly matched. You can see whenever they walk the red carpet together how much they truely love each other. I was watching some reporter interview them on the red carpet for the oscars and the way they looked at each other was so beautiful. I really hope they last.

Love this pair. They seem remarkably unpretentious and down-to-earth. After seeing Brokeback Mountain I have to add extremely talented to the list. Some of the longest lasting relationships in Hollywood don't have a marriage certificate, so whatever works for them.

Just please don't compare them to the creepy Cruises. I think the few here who mentioned them are the last people in the country who actually believe the whole thing isn't a sham.

I love this family. Matilda is so adorable! I think Michelle always looks great, especially her outfit at the Oscars.
