What a cutie. She is wearing big brother Maddox's hand me downs!

I absolutely adore little Z. She has such the personality. Oh and the Black Sabbath t-shirt is a hand-me-down from Maddox. Too cute. Also splash has video where Zahara says something to Brad and makes him laugh.

It is always a joy to see Princess Z. She is smiling a lot more in the pictures of her nowadays.

Oh my goodness!!! That is the best picture of her ever, look how absolutely happy she is!!!!

Good lord she is so freakin cute! Look at that smile--that's a genuine giggle almost! Both Z and Pax are so cute it's not even funny...lol And their little t-shirts-they are gonna be just like their parents when they grow up...saving the world. Too cute!

Oh, little Zahara is so precious I could pick her up and hug her and squeeze her and kiss her and eat her!! What a gorgeous little girl! She looks so michievous. I bet she's going to be the troublemaker of the family. I love this girl.

Posted by: Nausicaa at Jun 22, 2007 2:24:56 PM

She's adorable. She really likes those "people" when they aren't so in her face. I also love the fact that the kids wear hand me downs and the same shoes and clothes more then once. I know they aren't like normal people, but it's great to see that they aren't dressing their kids in thousand dollar outfits once and never to be worn again.

Posted by: ann at Jun 22, 2007 2:25:27 PM

God, she's so cute! There's more pics at JJ, and new ones of Brad picking them and Maddox up (Maddox is so handsome! I love his haircut).

Posted by: Nicole at Jun 22, 2007 2:45:57 PM

Z makes me laugh so hard. She always has that facial expression as if she were saying, "Haha, I caught you trying to take pictures of me again!" What a cutie!

Posted by: Adrienne at Jun 22, 2007 2:51:58 PM

Zee says, "Look people!"
and Brad laughs and says, "Yeah, they're everywhere, aren't they!"

Im waiting for her to run up to them and get all sassy! That will be funny.

Posted by: preesi at Jun 22, 2007 3:01:30 PM

Zahara is such a sweetie! Little Miss Sunshine, (almost) always looking so happy.

Posted by: Malla from Finland at Jun 22, 2007 3:02:00 PM

What an adorable picture. Zahara appears to have so much personality.
Eileen- in the video I believe she says "People" while pointing to the paps, and Brad seems to say something like "they're everywhere, aren't they?" He sounds like he's chuckling a bit. It's cute.

Posted by: LaurenT at Jun 22, 2007 3:08:08 PM

It's amazing to think of how far she's come. Wasn't she on the verge of starvation before Angelina came for her?

Posted by: Frost at Jun 22, 2007 3:22:41 PM

She is always making the cutest faces. She always smiles when she sees the paparratzi(i think thats how its spelled) anyways i love her she is too cute

Posted by: Nancy at Jun 22, 2007 3:38:50 PM

She is soooo cute! I love that expression on her face!
...and let me just say first, I don't mean this in a negative way, and everyone has the right to dress their kid the way they want to (people pick on me for putting bows bigger than my daughter's head in her hair !), but, it seems like Z is always in boys clothing and I seem to remember Shiloh being on the cover of a magazine after she was born, wearing a Kingsley shirt from the boys line? I just wonder if Brad & Angelina don't like girly clothing or what? As I said, just curious, don't want to sound negative!

Posted by: Southern girl at Jun 22, 2007 3:57:51 PM

She's soo cuute! And the video was adorable

Posted by: Bogota at Jun 22, 2007 4:11:31 PM

Ahhhhh! She's so flippin' adorable! I just want to kiss and hug her to pieces! I can just imagine the kind of joy she brings into that house. Angelina said in one of her recent interviews that Zahara is strong willed and has quite the personality. I can so see it, she's such a character. I bet she's the queen of that house. That's little face I can see telling mommy "daddy's gonna cry if I don't get a cookie" and throwing a fit from embarrassment when her daddy starts to dance lol.

Awww! What a cute face! Zahara has the most expressive face I've ever seen on a child. She sounds like a character.

Posted by: Lauren at Jun 22, 2007 4:31:52 PM

i think she'd look even cuter if they dressed her like a little girl...sorry!

Posted by: me at Jun 22, 2007 4:44:02 PM

Gotta say out of all of their children thus far, being that Shiloh isn't walking just yet. I swear Zahara will be in the entertainment world doing something, personally she's a model already. Such a beautiful girl, Zahara is photogentic times 10..

The paps must say funny things to make her laugh... she is so cute

Posted by: Yonni at Jun 22, 2007 5:19:28 PM

I'm sorry, everyone DOES have the right to dress their kid the way they want, but it wouldn't hurt them to dress Z like a GIRL once in awhile. Remember the comments made by Angelina about how she would never dress her girls up in frilly outfits and as soon as she's outta town and brad's parents get in, pics of shiloh show up in the cutest, frilliest dress. You can still teach your daughter to be a strong independent female and be feminine at the same time. There's nothing wrong with kicking butt in a skirt!

Posted by: jinger at Jun 22, 2007 5:27:17 PM

How do you all dress on a daily, day to day, basis? I dress in Ts and shorts or jeans. Zee is going to School, not a beauty contest.
Dresses are for dressing up. Jeans and Tshirts are for school...

Perhaps Ang wants to have her daughters develop their personalities FIRST and not concerned with fashion or beauty which could lead them right where Paris, Brit and Linds are. Vapid and self absorbed!

Posted by: preesi at Jun 22, 2007 5:42:48 PM

Oh and BTW!
When you look at Zee? Try to remember all the ones Ang couldnt bring back with her and maybe donate a lil money to the cause!

Posted by: preesi at Jun 22, 2007 5:44:40 PM

She's adorable and has such a big personality--it leaps out of the picture.

I don't mind at all when parents dress their kids in a unisex way. They obviously want their kids to be comfortable running around and maybe they don't like frilly things - or maybe Z wants to dress like her older brothers? She's at the age now where she probably likes to dress herself.

I know little girl clothes are cute, but I personally applaud people who don't try to gender stereotype kids from birth. I made a conscious effort to buy lots of orange/yellow/green/white and fun unisex patterns for my little boy, because I really didn't want him to have to wear baseball and truck outfits from infancy. If he likes baseball and trucks later, then he can choose to wear that kind of stuff then.

I love this kid! So adorable. It looks like dad dressed her this morning.

Posted by: Cortney at Jun 22, 2007 6:10:54 PM

I just can't get over how adorable she is! I love the style clothing she wears but it definately is tomboyish but I am a tomboy at heart so thats probably how I'd dress my girls if I had daughters. Anyway Soooo cute!

Posted by: Bren at Jun 22, 2007 6:11:36 PM

Southern Girl - I remember seeing Shiloh dressed in a cute frilly white dress once. I don't remember Zahara wearing a dress; it wouldn't surprise me if Zahara refused to wear dresses. Angelina has said that as soon as she fixes up Zahara's hair, she pulls the barettes out and messes it up again. Sounds to me like Z doesn't like being all "dolled up."

Posted by: Nausicaa at Jun 22, 2007 6:29:31 PM

I agree, I did not think it was a girl, sometimes I cant tell. I agree, that maybe they should dress her better! I am all for handme downs, but dont they have another baby that they can hand clothes down to after the big sister wears them? Its not like anglena and brad dont have money, I mean you dont have to shop on 5th avenue, but Target has cheap clothes as far as aprice and they hold up nice.

Posted by: Deb at Jun 22, 2007 6:44:14 PM

Z is adorable, such the little character! And that smile of hers is gorgeous! Love her! :)♥

Posted by: FC at Jun 22, 2007 9:19:51 PM

Good God! What business is it of anyone's how the child is dressed?! Frankly, I find it a little disturbing when people dress their kids like dolls. They are little people, and kids need to be in clothes they are comfortable in and that stand up to lots of play. If dressing your daughter in frilly girly crap is one of your priorities, perhaps you shouldn't have children. Ridiculous.
Zahara is a child full of life! I get the impression that she is very much like both of my daughters! She has the same wildly happy look that my 3 year old has on her little face! If they are anything at all similar, Angelina and Brad have their hands full! I love kids like that! A genuine joy of life!

It never fails, first u all were b*tching about Zee not smiling/looking mean... now u all cant gripe about that u pick on the clothes she wears....And just for the record there a various pics of Zahara wearing dress as well as frilly blouses.

Posted by: Adore1 at Jun 22, 2007 11:39:57 PM

Okay ladies...like I said, I wasn't trying to be negative about asking about the way they dress Z...I was just commenting she is always in boys clothing, as for money and not wanting her to be like some of the "famous" girls now, Z is still in pricey clothing, so it's not like it is cheap clothing, when they wear $50 tees I don't think that is teaching them much...but like I said, their business, I just think it would be nice to see the adorable little girl in girl's clothing from time to time...she wouldn't have to be "dolled up" or in lace and bows, or even dresses, just clothes from the girl's department, they have jeans and tees there as well...it wouldn't cost anymore than what she wears now. Anyway, it's not a big deal,as long as those children are loved and cared for, clothes don't matter, I was just stating my opinion, and that is all it is :-)

Posted by: Southern girl at Jun 22, 2007 11:49:29 PM

she is so adorable and seems like a sweetheart

Posted by: shelana at Jun 23, 2007 2:02:59 AM

Zahara is adorable. So what if she doesn't wear 'girly' clothes on a daily basis - how we dress our children is entirely up to us parents - it's sad that a mother and a father can't even choose their kid's clothes anymore without being criticized. How we dress our kids is a matter of personal taste, and also a matter of what we think suits our child's personality and frankly, Z doesn't strike me as a very 'girly' girl the way she often acts and pulls these faces - she looks like a cute, but naughty little cookie! Maybe she doesn't like frilly pink dresses herself - not every girl does.

Leni Klum and Violet Affleck almost always wear very girly-looking pink or lavender little outfits, with stylish little pink shoes and hair accessories and whatever not.

That's absolutely fine, and Zahara's 'boyish' clothes are just as fine. At the end of the day, it's the kids underneath that count and not, what 'uniform' they're wearing!

Posted by: pink.lioness at Jun 23, 2007 4:58:29 AM

Well if it didn't matter about the way Zee dresses it wouldn't be talked about sooooo much, when you have your little girls, put them in dresses and frilly blouses, since they are yours, Shiloh & Zahara are not your kids, therefore their parents can dress them however they want.

Posted by: Adore1 at Jun 23, 2007 10:44:34 AM

Oh for crying out loud. It's 2007. I can't believe there is even the mention of the word "feminine" when it comes to a child!

She is a young girl being dressed practically. She looks adorable and comfortable.

And whoever it as that made the comment about dressing Zahara in a more feminine nature, I sure hope you don't have children if you're going to be passing on THOSE ancient and outdated standards.

Posted by: Dizz at Jun 23, 2007 2:30:42 PM

Ladies...really? All that I said was the their girls always seem to be in boys clothing...it has nothing to do with being "girly" or frilly or whatever...there is a lot of girl's clothing that isn't at all frilly! Their parenting skills don't have anything to do with the way they dress their kids...it was just an observation, this is a post, you know? I didn't feel I was insulting anyone or I wouldn't have posted it...Z is adorable, as are the rest of B & A's kids...and they do a lot of good works, that wasn't my point...FYI..those of you who are making such a big deal saying that they are just trying not to sterotype or "enforce gender" on Z...hmmmm, I don't once remember Pax or Mad being in girl's clothing???

Posted by: Southern girl at Jun 23, 2007 3:00:19 PM

Personally, clothes for little girls are so cute that I can't resist buying them for my friends' daughters.

Z is too cute for her own good.

Posted by: terri at Jun 23, 2007 10:29:55 PM

Deb, IMO, your comment was very disrespctful. You should never call a child (or even an adult, for that matter), "it". As for the thing about how Angie and Brad dress Z and Shiloh...First of all, the thing about Angie refusing to put Shiloh in frilly dresses was basically a rumor.
That said, it is very possible that Zahara doesn't like girly clothes. I know of a little girl who, when she was about Z's age, hated to be dressed in girly clothes. At least 99 percent of the time, she was dressed in boyish clothes (now that she is older, she is more willing to wear girly clothes). As for Shiloh, she is only one year old! At that age, it is much more practical to dress a kid in simple clothes like onsies, T-shirts, etc.
And finally, here are some pictures of Zahara wearing girly clothes:

Southern Girl--I think Angie and Brad tend to dress them all in UNISEX clothing. Nothing about Z's outfit seems boyish to me--it's just a t-shirt and pair of pants. How do you know it's not from the girl's department? Even if it is from the boy's dept, why can't they recycle some clothes?

They seem like practical parents, and maybe Zahara outgrew some clothes and they didn't have time to buy her more b/c they travel so much---or maybe they just want to get some good use out of the stuff they have.

No, they never dressed Pax and Mad in girl's clothes, but they didn't wear "Bob the Builder" clothes either--they ALL wear unisex stuff and I, for one, think it's kind of refreshing.

I don't think people are attacking you for wanting to dress your girls in girly stuff, but some people really don't like to emphasize fashion with little ones. I'm one of those people. I really want my son to wear comfy clothing he can move in, and I bought a lot of unisex stuff which I plan to use for any future babies--male or female.

Posted by: PSB at Jun 23, 2007 11:38:15 PM

ITA, Southern Girl. Interesting how people are so eager to break down stereotypes by dressing girls in masculine looking clothes and giving them male names don't go the other way. When was the last time you saw a boy wearing a skirt? What about with the name Elisabeth?
And Dizz-seriously? You think dressing a little girl in feminine outfits is "ancient and outdated?" Wow. I guess we're living in different time periods.

Posted by: Lauren at Jun 24, 2007 3:59:53 PM

can't believe.. ok maybe I can but.. it is so silly complaining about how Z is dressed. maybe she wanted to wear the tshirt. my little one is always wanting to wear her brothers tshirts. And I have seen Zahara in dresses several times. I remember her in a blue dress, and a white one more than once, and a black one.
Not only that, she often wears gold bracelets.

Posted by: leni at Jun 24, 2007 4:51:15 PM

Zahara has been seen in dresses quite a few times, some people must have memory problems. Or maybe some people missed those pics. She was dressed in little dresses all last summer..including the People magazine article about shiloh's birth.(she was in a blue dress.) I saw her in a black dress with some other colors, and white dresses in New Orleans last year.

Just because YOU didnt see it, doesnt mean it didnt happen!

Some people are so judgemental about superficial things.

southergirl-

When they dress them up in $50 tees that's not "Teaching them much" ? are you kidding?

those kids KNOW poverty- they don't have to be taught. They've had it much worse than the likes of you, watching them on the internet and chastizing their clothes. Would you like to send them back to their homelands, is that "teaching them" ?

What Angie and Brad are doing is beautiful.

Posted by: at Jun 25, 2007 4:45:51 PM

Zahara wore dresses last year in New Orleans and India. But really...who cares? She is a beautiful child and obviously well cared for and loved.

Posted by: ira at Jun 25, 2007 5:54:51 PM

UM, didnt we just see Zahara in New York wearing a little girl red top? it had a drawing of a little girl on the front so it was definitely not from the boys dept. And that little blue shirt with the stars(i think they were stars) that she wore with her white pants recently was def. a girls top. Also, not long ago we saw her in jeans with a green jacket, and a pink shirt. Not many boys wear pink shirts..she had girly hair bows or ponytail holders in her hair too.

Posted by: lora at Jun 25, 2007 6:03:47 PM

I've seen a picture of Angie (while she was still preggers with knox & vivienne), Brad, Pax & Zahara out in a beach on France. Z was in a lovely pink dress that was still a nice feminine style without being overly frilly. It was in Hello! magazine.
