I think that's a good arrangement. Anne is a bit unstable and doesn't need primary custody of any child.

Thank God for that. Anne is clearly too mentally unstable to care for a child right now, and after the comments her lawyer made about Cody not "financially contrbituting" to Homer because he chose to be a stay-at-home dad, I say good riddance to both Anne and her lawyer.

I'm so happy about the ruling. That kid needs a stable and loving parent to care for him on a daily basis and obviously Anne is not that parent. Coley must be breathing a sigh of relief.

Anne really seems to march to the beat of her own drum (if you know what I mean,lol). I truly hope that the little fellow has love and stability in his life. Poor guy was given the challenge of carrying the name Homer Laffoon thru life. Hope they do what is best for HIM.

Child support in most jurisdicitions is figured out by a complicated formula, which includes how much parents' incomes. It may not be any more percentage wise than other parents pay it just looks like more.

I agree that Homer was placed in the more stable home. What I don't get is why famous people think they need that astronomic child support payment. Sure its nice to have $19,000-$33,000 a month child support but come on parents do it all the time w/ less every month.....it DOES NOT take that much to support 1 child in a single month even if the custodial parent didn't work it still leaves them well off.
i have friends who support more than 1 child on less than that and they are comfortable.

Child support is all relative. It really depends on what the parents are making. The way they try to figure the amount is so the child's standard of living won't change once it's parents are separated.
