Tiger Woods decides to skip Buick Open; staying home with baby

Tags: Dads , News

With the arrival of daughter Sam Alexis on Monday, golfer Tiger Woods has opted to skip the Buick Open next week in order to stay home with wife Elin and the baby. Tiger writes,

...We're still getting settled at home and it's important to be there for my family. I look forward to playing next year. Both [Elin and Sam] are healthy and happy. I can't describe how wonderful it is to be a father. This is something I dreamed about and I'm enjoying every minute. It's a good thing I don't need much sleep.

Aren't they just going to be the most attentive, doting parents?! Major, major kudos to them.

I am just so giddy to see a picture of Miss Sam...she is no doubt going to be gorgeous but just to see who she looks like and how beautiful she is, I cannot wait! And HUGE kudos to Tiger...he could have easily played in that tournament...but family comes first and there's nothing more attractive than that IMO...Sam is one lucky girl and reading this from Tiger, he just seems so happy and content...cannot wait to see thus bundle of joy...I just LOVE Tiger...

He must really be in awe of his new baby! How cute is that? And most definetely has his priorities straight. He has enough money to probably retire already!

I LOVE Tiger Woods. I could really see him being a hands-on Dad.
