U r not alone Laura, i have always know since i was a little girl that i wanted to have children. I agree and understand where u r coming from and i agree with almost everything Katherine mentioned, except dating guys too old. I will only date someone no more than 12 yrs older. But, i am also glad that i am not the only one that feels this way about having a family.

I can't help but question whether people who date much older men have "daddy-issues" cause 9 times out of 10...

I wouldn't question individual circumstances, but what concerns me is the statement "they're wiser, their less about themselves and more about you." It just sounds like she's looking for that paternal attention she either got too little of or refuses to go without.
Concerns me a little.
