I'm sure Chris is a really wonderful dad. But I have two words for him- beard trimmer.

OMG, that girl could be the identical twin of Keri Russell!! Other sights could have a misplaced field day with this picture!

Wow, she looks like a dark version of Kate! I just hope he has final found a little happiness again...

Don't you think that Robinson's new girlfriend looks a little like a brunette Kate Hudson?!?!?! Just thinking.....

Posted by: Danielle at Jul 31, 2007 4:55:34 PM

LOL, it is like looking at Jesus pushing a stroller. :D

LOL Jesus pushing a stroller! Modern day Jesus. Too funny.
I think the girl looks similar to Kate as well but Kate just has a jubilant look. Always looks like she is glowing, even when she was cheating with Owen Wilson......Although I have to say I couldn't understand what she was attracted to about Chris in the first place, must be his personality.

All in all he appears to be a really good Daddy and ryder seems to be a happy little kid.

She does have a resemblence to Kate. I truly never know what she saw in Chris, but to each their own. He looks to be a doting dad that's all that matters.

Ryder is old enough to be walking on his own now
he's adorable but with a hair-cut he would be even cuter!

I think this girl looks like a carbon copy of Johnny Depp's girlfriend, Vanessa Paradis.

No comment on Chris's outfit.

Love Chris, love Ryder, LOVE the hair!!! His GF does look like Keri Russell!!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NO stroller comments PLEASE.
I cannot handle when people judge. Who knows what they are doing . Looks like the basket underneath is full of stuff too. I have a 2.5 year old who is thin and tall and I get comments all the time like oh she should be walking. You try walking to the park in hot weather with a little toddler. She takes a half an hour just to walk down the street. She knows how to walk and is capable of it but sometimes a stroller works. She gets tired fast and sometimes I want her to nap.
DO NOT JUDGE! look at how skinny he is (like dad) he may be a really slow walker.

His gf does look like kate a bit. Ryder looks like kate, more than chris IMO.

You know what's funny? Before I had kids, I would always look at older (2+ years) kids in a stroller and think, They should make that kid walk! Then I had kids and I realized that you often use a stroller for YOU, not them!

Plus it is just easier in a city, where Chris and Ryder and friend seem to be, also when you are out and about sightseeing.

Think of how tiring it is for you as an adult to walk and walk on vacation or on a long day out running errands. No biggie to give your kids a respite for at least part of the time. :)

I live in the city and plan on using a stroller for a long time. The sidewalks are really crowded where I live and my baby could run out (or get knocked) into traffic very easily.

Also, Chris Robinson is famous and maybe he feels his kid is more vulnerable to fans/photogs/etc if he's walking on his own. Maybe the kid is a runner and they don't want the stigma of putting him on a baby-leash (I'm sure THAT would get a ton of comments on CBB).

They should do whatever is safest for the toddler and disregard everybody else. He's not a five year old or anything!

My neighbors son is 3 1/2 (and chubby) and uses a similar stroller when his mom wants to go for a jog! She says she'd like him to walk bc he is heavy and needs the exercise, then she says he's just too slow to move very far, very fast and it's just easier to put him in one when she needs to get around!! So sometimes you do what you have to do for you! Ryder looks comfy having daddy push him around.

I no longer comment about the hair, I've given up LOL

Chris is beautiful, Ryder is beautiful, his lady is beautiful! God bless them.

When I first saw this picture, I turned to my husband and said "Here come the comments about his hair and the stroller. Not two seconds later I read this:

Ryder is old enough to be walking on his own now he's adorable but with a hair-cut he would be even cuter!

Nevermind the stroller comments...

Anyone else think of the Geico commercials when they look at Chris?

Posted by: Principesa at Aug 1, 2007 1:27:15 AM

Whatever Chris Robinson may look like, he's 100 times better than Owen Wilson - the real question is what did she see in HIM?!

Posted by: Maya at Aug 1, 2007 1:43:32 AM

I don't get all the comments about that baby being in a stroller or his hair? I could see if Ryder's feet were dragging along on the ground or something, but he is very small and nobody feels like running after a child all day, especially when u r trying to take care of things or are concerned about their safety.

And, if they want his long than thats there business, and look at dad, its normal in that family, and who cares! Why r people so judgemental?

"Whatever Chris Robinson may look like, he's 100 times better than Owen Wilson"

............I think Owen Wilson is really handsome, and a great actor, sooo funny! for me is a 1,000 times better than Chris, of course just talking of the way they look, maybe inside Chris is a better person, who knows :) but I really prefere Owen!

There is a lot of judgement in the comments on here, as usual. Each and every one of us is given the blessing of being a parent to just a select few children in our lives. Along with that comes the millions of choices we have to make along the way. It is no one else's business whether I breastfeed or not, use a pacifier or not, make them use a sippy cup at age one, breastfeed in public or not, use cloth diapers or not, have my child in a stroller or not, or grow his hair or not, etc. etc. etc up to age 18. It is only my choice and I wish more CBB readers would respect the right of every parent, celebrity or not, to make their own choices. I certainly wouldn't want every single choice I make to be debated and spoken of in such a negative way.
