Jeff Gordon releases new pictures of Ella Sofia
The short period of time Jeff Gordon has spent with new daughter Ella Sofia, 3-weeks, has nonetheless profoundly impacted the NASCAR driver, who says that babies and kids are "all I want to talk about now."
[I have] a whole new respect, not just for parents, but especially for moms.
Jeff and his wife, model Ingrid Vandebosch, released new images of their daughter yesterday when Jeff co-hosted Live with Regis and Kelly. According to Jeff — who first introduced Ella Sofia on his website last week — the photographs were taken by a good friend and "they turned out fantastic." Like many first-time fathers, Jeff says he was emotional in the delivery room.
My emotions were all over the place, because I was kind of helpless. She’s having the baby, and there’s nothing I can do but get the doctors…I’m sure that was very helpful, though…The baby came out and we’re both crying — in shock — and then you hear her cry for the first time. I look over and I’m like ‘Honey, how are you?’

I will never cheer for the the 24 car but I have nothing bad to say of Jeff Gordon. He seems like a great man and I know he will be a great dad. Ella is a cutie!

Aww– I love Jeff Gordon! Ella is so beautiful– just like her mommy and daddy. Thanks to Jeff and Ingrid for the photos– keep them coming. What a pretty baby and I love the one of Ella and her daddy!!

To answer the bolded question at bottom, I think my husband cried harder when our daughter was born than I did. He was just amazed (as am I) over how beautiful she is.

When our first daughter was born is the only time I’ve seen my husband cry….it wasn’t bawling or showers just a couple tears running down his face. It was a beautiful moment.

I am so happy that Jeff & Ingrid are “sharing” Ella with the world. She is a doll. I especially love the black & white photo - it looks like she is saying “Shhh, Daddy is sleeping!” Too sweet! I hope their family continues to grow.

shes a beauty! i love Jeff!! and to answer the question, Yes my husband did cry, along with everyone who was in the delivery room when Both of my Children were born!!!

I am a big Hendricks fan mostly the 48 team, i’m really happy to see Jeff so happy, Ella is just beautiful she looks just like her daddy. Best of luck to all of you. See you at Chicagoland.

i am jeff’s biggest fan my hole room his him and every time i see him on nascar i cry cuz i love seeing him drive and when he wins i cry so hard but there tires of joyness i am kinda jelouse that he had a babi but i am very happy for him she is very beautiful but i have herd rumors that he is going to be a stay at home dad and if he his i will cry so hard ill cry my self to sleep cuz i I LOVE WATCHING him RACE cuz i know it is something he loves and enjoys but anywayz i am very happy for him and his wife and i hope they will be a happy and cute family happy

Jeff is an awesome race car driver, and will be a awesome father. I watched him on Regis and he was just glowing. The pictures are beautiful…..Congratulations on Fatherhood! I know it changed mine and my husbands life… Did he cry? OH YEAH!!!! You are my driver and have been since you started driving for the winston cup!!Good luck this weekend! Let’s win this race

I’m not a big fan of Jeff Gordon. I root for Jimmie Johnson. I do however think these pictures are adorable. I wish this family the best of luck. Can’t wait to see baby #2. Ella is a beauty! Congrats to Jeff and Ingrid!
