Rumor: New nursery for the Federline boys
Star Magazine is reporting that Kevin Federline, ex-husband of Britney Spears, is sparing no expense at decorating a nursery for his boys, Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months. Kevin reportedly spent $14,000 at the Los Angeles baby boutique, Petit Tresor last week. A source told Star,
Kevin was in the store for close to an hour, and was carefully selecting the right theme for each child. You could tell he really put his heart and soul into this, and was precise in what he envisioned, when describing each of his sons’ personalities.
The source went on to explain that for Sean Preston, Kevin chose a sports theme, which will include a baseball mural on one of the walls. For Jayden James, the decor will be a nursery rhyme theme that will include blue stuffed animals from the Kaloo line and bears from the Alvin and Sparky Collection.

Where is he getting all this money? Good for him for taking an interest in his boys…but curious, is he making room for his other children?

It makes me absolutely crazy to read all of the statements that Petit Tresor leak to the press. For heaven’s sake, you’d think that they were the ONLY boutique that celebrities ever shop at-and, another funny thing, they always seem to buy the same things! Give me a break!

I wish all of these Petit Tresor stories would be put in the “rumor” section. They are so fame hungry and brazen about how they plant PR news items, that it makes me suspicious that they are the ones leaking fake rumors (like the Nicole Ritchie one), since they get their name mentioned and don’t have to prove anything. Who is the “source” who give you this info—a PT employee?

I love how he’s always keeping the kids inside his home. I never saw him with JJ or SP at the park or shopping. This way nobody can see his parenting mistakes.

Aww, I think it’s sweet that Kevin is decorating rooms for his kids and it really makes me believe the current rumors that he is once again seeking full custody are true.
With the state Britney’s in these days and if he really does have her whole family on his side… it looks like he might have a pretty good chance.
Someone needs to get that girl help. And he has a job now so I’ve heard, at a radio station… hopefully he can take the boys and she will finally get her life in order.

Oh wow! He can be a parent now because he has Brit’s money. Why wasn’t he more involved before when he had his other two kids? Just wondering if he’s playing it up for courts…

I personally didn’t like Kevin at first but I think that he is the lesser of two evils now. I think that Britney needs her kids taken away from her for a little bit so that she learns a big lesson. She is just too erratic. You would have thought as bad as she wanted her kids that she would have THEIR best interest in mind, and not loose hers. Brit, you need help!

I swear, if I were a celeb I would NEVER shop at Petit Tresor!!! They are always spilling the beans and fabricating stories to get advertising out for their store. I don’t believe much when it comes to them, but hey, who knows this time. I can’t see KFed shopping in there honestly.

Hmm… I was just wondering on the comments regarding Kevin’s parenting of his 2 children by Shar Jackson. I thought that she had always said he was a good father to them (yeah I still think what he did, walking out on her was wrong), but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been a good father otherwise. I also thought that he and Britney had rooms for the children at their house together, so maybe he does have rooms for them.
Again my guess is that if this is true, I didn’t realise it was P.T. at first, then maybe he’s preparing to have them fulltime.
As for Sandy’s comment about him keeping the boys in his home. True you haven’t seen pictures of Kevin with his children but you also haven’t seen nearly as many pictures with Kevin without his children at clubs/parties/swimming in his underwear either. I would rather know that Federline is staying home with his children and keeping them there and acting like a decent human being than taking them out and about in public and acting the way Britney has the past few days/weeks/months.
It’s funny how in some peoples’ eyes Kevin F. will never be able to do right no matter how hard he tries… but Britney Spears can continue making mistakes and those same people will say give her another try…

I used to think Kevin was another Bobby Brown, but not anymore. Not since I found out it was Britney who begged Kevin to marry her 3 TIMES before he actually said, okay. And she bought her own ring!
I could totally see her convincing him that they were gonna have a fantasy life together! And convincing him to have kids etc.
I think Britney has no idea what she wants.
Does she want a career or just to be left alone?
Does she want kids or her partygirl freedom!?
I think Kevin got hit by the Britney bus and is a victim of her…I can totally see him sitting on the couch thinking “WTH just happened the past 3 years?”
I think playing wifey and housewife wasnt fun anymore so she got rid of it and started partying…

You know, now that I look back on the K-fed saga, I don’t think he’s all bad.
Yes, he left Shar and that was a d*ck thing to do but when you put yourself in his shoes, it’s easy to understand why. He was having problems with Shar and this uber hot, sexy icon comes on to him strong (she admits she pursued him, not the other way around, proposed to him, etc). You’re an average guy and Britney Spears wants YOU. It would be intoxicating.
Also, Shar has always said he is a devoted, hands on, father. You always saw pics of him with Kori and Kaleb while he was married to Britney. However, those pics and stories aren’t “sexy”. No one cares if you hear about Kori & Kaleb. People want to hear about Jayden & Sean, Britney’s kids.
I think Kevin is a bad boyfriend but a good father. He is taking an interest in his sons and trying to do right by them. He’s doing more than their mother @ this point.

You can count on one hand the pics of kevin w/ his kids. He’s been photgraphed alot these last few years. If this story is true it is Britney’s money he’s using. He has 2 other young kids, shouldn’t he be setting up 4 rooms? It also isn’t true that Shar has always said he a good dad. Her story has changed countless times. She has called him a selfish dad & also claimed he didn’t visit the kids often.
Rachel all your comments about Britney are very biased & you like to quote from unconfirmed tabloid crap. Kevin has been pictured out at clubs partying w/o his kids several times. Britney has atleast been seen w/ them very often. You say people never give Kevin a break, well the same can be said about you w/ Britney.
I think it shows Kevin’s true colors that he didn’t start taking an intrest in thes boys until acsess to Britney’s fortune was on the line.

IF it’s true, I think it’s great he is taking an interest but lets remember this $14,000 nursery is paid for with Britney’s money or is money he earned only because he was married to Britney. This guy is no candidate for father of the year in my book.
