CBB Exclusive update: Nicole Richie to confirm pregnancy to Diane Sawyer
CBB Exclusive update: Our source confirms that Nicole will be making the announcement next week, and discusses her legal situation.
Nicole accepted the plea deal because it was best for her situation. She will only be in jail for 4 days, and it will be all over when the baby is born. That’s all she and Joel want, is for this whole mess to be behind them and to start a clean page with their new child.
Her interview next week with Diane Sawyer will officially announce her pregnancy to the world. Finally, after all the trial delays, she feels that it is the right time.
Originally posted July 25th: The long self-imposed media silence of Nicole Richie is about to come to an abrupt end. According to US magazine, Nicole has granted Diane Sawyer an exclusive interview — set to air in three parts beginning Aug. 2 on Good Morning America. Nicole is due in January 2008 with the first child for she and boyfriend Joel Madden, though The couple is yet to confirm their baby news.
We can only presume the announcement — one way or the other — will come next week!

How do you know she is due in January? Was there another announcement or is this what was reported in US weekly?

I just watched the tmz footage of NR in court 2day. Of course she wore black and had her purse strategically placed, so I couldnt tell.
I really really really hope she tells Diane next week that she isnt pregnant just to proove tmz,perez, & all others wong.
But alas, her & Xtina have denied pregnancy in the past, but this time they arent so I guess she is ?

My aunt’s sister-in-law and Nicole have the same OBGYN. She saw Nicole Richie in the waiting room. No doubt in my mind that she is pregnant!

Wow can’t believe she is pregnant. That’s one baby I can’t wait to see, and Christina and her are both due around January, so this should be interesting. I’m thinking both Nicole and Christina will have boys, just a gut feeling. Also Paris and nicole are doing anther simple life, both of them said, so wonder if it will deal or be taped while nicole is pregnant. Anyway congrats to Nicole, she is so funny on the simple life.

Nothing I’ve seen convinces me she’s pregnant - she probably just ate a burger. If she does turn out to be pregnant I genuinely hope she matures throughout the pregnancy. I’ve seen and read (direct quotes from her) things lately which were a bit worrying. If she is pregnant I hope her baby is safe from harm when it’s born.

Grayson’s Girl… I tend to agree. For some reason I truly feel that we might just see a mature young woman emerge from all this. Good for her!(and the baby!lol)

Did anyone notice in those court room drawings that Nicole has a bit of baby bump in them? I noticed it when they showed it on ET. I kinda giggled at the fact that even the person sketching that noticed the bump. *Shrug* easily amused I guess.

I am just starting to believe it as well. I don’t mean for this to be a criticism or slam on Nicole in any way, but honestly I think I’m most surprised b/c i really didn’t think her body was up to the task of conceiving and carrying. Obviously I was wrong. I know weight was a struggle for her and as with many people she went up and down. Obviously she was in a good place, a healthy place, back when she conceived - so that’s great.
