I’ve officially decided there is no child more beautiful than Suri Cruise!! She is just such a gorgeus happy baby!! and I love how her parents have more than made up for lost time those few months we didnt see Suri!!

I agree. I just find Suri to be absolutely gorgeous! I love her smile. It’s so sweet. She looks like a happy baby and Katie looks happy as well. Never really a fan of the whole TomKat couple but now with Suri I am learning to like them!

I love how Brooklyn is making Suri laugh. What a good big brother he must be! I’d love to see him with a baby sister.

Brooklyn and Suri… future celebrity couple? Lol. Now THAT would be a power-couple if I ever saw one.
I just love those Beckham boys, they are going to be heartbreakers for sure. And Suri is a doll… She is such a complete, equal and perfect mix of Katie and Tom that it is impossible to say who she looks like more. She looks like the two of them melded together. Which is what she is, I suppose… hehe.

I was watching the game and when people were screaming for Becks, Suri was covering her ears and then she started clapping. She is so adorable. Katie looked so beautiful and happy. Suri is to die for. They all looked like they were having so much fun. A great Saturday afternoon.

These pictures are too cute for words (Suri and Violet need to have playdates!) and I also have to wonder if it’s hard for Victoria to be around Suri so much, since I have read that she has longed for a little girl forever. I think I read that they were a little disappointed when they found out Cruz was a boy.
I don’t have kids but we keep trying— is it true there are ways to help ensure having a girl/boy? Or is it old wives’ tales?

Well, i think there are methods of increasing the chance of having one gender or the other, but most of them are still a coin toss. Some doctors say that when trying to conceive a GIRL a couple should have sex 2/1 2 to 3 days before ovulation. Having sex further away from ovulation favors the larger slower moving X (girl) sperm. The weaker Y (boy) sperm will die more quickly in the more acidic preovulatory vaginal / cervical secretions and by the time of ovulation there will be a much larger concentration of X (girl) sperm available to fertilize the egg.
It is also noted that one certain sexual position can help to conceive girls more so than boys, and if you are trying to conceive a girl, shallow penetration from your partner, preferably with the missionary position, will deposit the sperm closer to the entrance to the vagina. This area is more acidic than closer to the cervix and acidity will work against the weaker “boy” sperm leaving more “girl” sperm available to fertilize your egg.
Also, another tip is to not orgasm during sex since the body produces substances after orgasm that makes the vaginal environment more alkaline, which favors the “boy” sperm.
The contractions which accompany an orgasm help move the sperm up and into the cervix, giving the “boy” sperm an extra chance at being available when your egg is available for fertilization.
So, hopefully those are some helpful hints for you while trying to conceive. If you are trying to conceive a boy, have sex as early as 24 hours before ovulation to no more than 12 hours past ovulation.

That baby is cute beyond words. She has really grown into her looks and is so precious. I think she looks a lot like Katie, but I can definitely see the Mapother genes too. Even though she and Tom’s mom have different coloring, I think she looks a lot like her grandma. Maybe it’s the eyes?

When she was first photographed, I think Suri looked more like Tom, but now she’s totally Katie, which is definately a good thing. She’s a beautiful little girl and if she keeps looking like her mummy rather than her daddy as she grows up, I think she will always be beautiful. And those photos with her and Brooklyn Beckham are adorable. I think he’s the only Beckham boy who looks like his mother.

Elizabeth….saddly for us women it is the man whose little guys do the deciding if your having a boy or girl. Like Henry the 8th who kept killing his wives because they would not give him boys only girls and when he finally did have a son he was mentally handicapped. When in all actuality it was his genes not theirs making all the girls.

No, there is really a way to help the nature. It’s what you eat, you have to eat things and avoid others for a boy or a girl. I can’t remember exactly what works for who but apparently it works most of the time. I think you can find the diet on the internet or maybe you can ask to your doctor.

I researched the idea of gender selection for our second child. We desperately wanted a girl as well because my husband is one of five boys and our first child was a son. There’s a book, usually referred to as the Shettles method, that my husband and I used and now we have a beautiful baby girl! The most important principle is ovulation timing because of something to do with speed of male versus female sperm.

As a devotee of the Tudor period of history, I just have to make a small correction to your post: Edward VI (Henry VIII’s son by Jane Seymour) was NOT mentally handicapped. He likely had some congenital health problems due to the fact that his father had syphillis.
He spoke several languages fluently, was very interested and well-read in theology, history, astrology (considered a science at the time), played several instruments, etc.

Suri is looking more and more like Tom every time I see pictures of her! I remember when I saw the cover of Vanity Fair when they first had pictures of her, and she looked EXACTLY like Katie. She’s definitely changed, but still adorable!

Whenever I see pictures of this family, they are so beautiful that I feel like they should get a copy for themselves. Suri is just to beautiful for words. I know both Tom and Katie are beautiful but Suri is beyond compare for sure. I wish they could make her a child model.

How is that SUri is able to sit through a soccer game on her mothers lap? I have a baby the same age and there is absolutely no way he would sit on my lap in that environment for more than 5 minutes

She is by the cutest celebrity baby ever. Forget that, she is the cutest baby I have ever seen in my life (other than my own of course). I bet it is hard for Victoria to be around little girls because I wanted a girl and got a boy and even tho I love him and am happy with what I got, I still yearn for a girl. Why dont Vicky and David do the medical gender slection where the doctors take a girl sperm from David and put it in Vicky. They have the money and are guarenteed a girl. I know if I was rich enough, I would do it. Anyway, Suri looks like Tom and Katie both. Toms eyes and Katies everything else.

Suri is becoming a really beautiful little girl. I think she has grown into her “grown up” look. She never had that “baby” look about her which is why EVERYONE seemed to think she was much older than what they said she was.
