Update: Usher and fiancée expecting a son
Update: Jawn Murray at BV Buzz says the baby is a boy and is due in December.
Originally posted June 27th: Singer Usher, 28, and his fiancée Tameka Foster, 36, are expecting a baby together this fall. In a statement released this evening, they said,
We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning ourwedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first childtogether. We hope people will be happy for us and respect ourprivacy during this happy period in our lives.
This will be Usher’s first child and Tameka’s fourth.
Rumors have been swirling around the couple for weeks, and they only heightened after Tameka told Essence,
Yes, I do plan to have children with Usher. This is the man I love andplan to spend the rest of my life with, so why wouldn’t I want to sharethat bond of bringing another life into this world with him?

I though she’s been pregnant for a few months now? I remember hearing that she was pregnant with her ex-husbands baby, and then she got together with Usher, and they when they found out that she was pregnant they were going to raise the baby as Ushers?

Lola- The post states that rumors have been swirling around them for several months, and it sounds like her getting pregnant with her ex-husband’s baby was one of them.
Also, if you read the quote from her, she said she wanted to share the bond of bringing another life into the world with him, that he is the man she loves and wants to spend the rest of her life wife, and that she planned to have children with Usher (remember, that quote was from an interview done BEFORE she got pregnant). To me, it is crystal clear that this baby is indeed Usher’s.
All of that said, I have a question for the staff of CBB: Why aren’t the names and ages of Tameka’s other children listed?
CBB Note: Because we don’t know them.
We seem to hear this question from you on a lot of posts, so to be clear — if information is not listed, it’s usually because we don’t know it.

How interesting… If my memory is correct it was just a few weeks ago when this rumor started, and they denied it. I don’t think I would ever understand why people do things like that. However…
I do wish them the best! I hope her pregnancy is healthy and they have a healthy baby.
I wonder who this child would look like? Hmm….. Can’t wait for the baby pics.

Okay, I understand. I promise I will stop asking that question. That said, I can’t wait to see pics of Usher and Tameka’s new baby, and I hope they will release its name, despite the fact that Tameka has not made her other children’s names public.

ok. I want to know what is in the water. It seems like there have been so many pregnancy announcements with celebrities. Don’t get me wrong, I am so happy for each and everyone of them. Could someone please pass some of this water to me and my hubby!

I am disappointed in Usher. This will be her fourth child. I hope that this is really love, and not his infactuation with a older woman. I think because he is young, and it’s his first it would have been better for him to experience fatherhood with someone with a little less baggage. One thing I noticed about her is that she likes the attention on her, she does interviews, photo shoots, celebrity parties. I wonder if she is trying to get a career started for her self. I hope for him that he is happy, because though he is not perfect he should be very skeptical of the females he gets involved with their motives can be wrong.

It blows my mind that you would be disappointed in someone that you don’t even know. Usher is a man, not a little boy. If he wants to follow his heart and get hurt that’s his choice. I can’t understand why people sometimes feel that it’s their place to pass along their opinion about how someone should live their life. Live and let live.

wow! if you guys wouldnt of posted her age, i would of thaught that was his mom! i hope the baby looks like him. good luck
