Holly Madison not pregnant with Hugh Hefner's baby, friend says

Tags: Dads , News

Although she is not currently pregnant, Holly Madison, 28, wants to have Hugh Hefner's baby in the next two years -- and The couple is banking sperm in case Hugh's age catches up with him.  According to Bridget Marquardt, Holly's Girls Next Door co-star, Hugh, 81, is on board with the idea of Holly becoming a mom but he has already set limits on his own parental involvement.  When asked about whether Hugh will change diapers, Bridget replied,

Yeah, that'll never happen, unless they make him do it. He already said, 'I'm not going to be raising the kid, it'll be your thing.'

Citing 'complications' with his current, though estranged, wife Kimberly Conrad, Bridget said it is unlikely that Hugh and Holly will eventually marry.  She added,

Kids, though, he's definitely saying, 'Yeah, not right this second.'  I think [Holly] wants to be pregnant before she's 30 and have the baby before she's 30. So she's got two years...The funny thing is that she doesn't even want to be pregnant while we're still there. She wants kind of a normal life.

Kimberly is apparently of like mind.  Her own two children with Hef -- 17-year-old Marston and 16-year-old Cooper -- live next door, but their involvement with Girls Next Door is minimal.  According to Bridget,

Kimberly doesn't want to be on the show and she doesn't want the kids on the show...They do come over, but they don't really spend a lot of time or do a lot of things together.

Hugh also has two adult children, 54-year-old Christie and 52-year-old David with ex-wife Mildred Williams

Holly is just 28 years old??? WOW. I thought she was much older. Bless her simple heart.

I'm not going to voice my opinion on this...

I don't think this would be a healthy attitude to have towards having children just letting one person look after it, I always thought that having a baby was a 2 person job in more ways that one?
Imagine growing up and learning that your father was not really bothered in having you and really only agreed to have you to please your mother (which is how it sounds)
I can't blame holly for not wanting to have a child in the situation they are in now (with 3 girlfriends)but I really yhrink they should think this through and BOTH commit to this a baby is for life and a HUGE responsibility

Ok, so maybe it's just me, but this entire situation just seems odd!

I wish her nothing but happiness in her life, but she deserves someone that's willing to show her that she's special in his life and not just "another girlfriend/baby momma"...

"I'm not going to be raising the kid, it'll be your thing" Wow!!! I hope that quote was taking out of context. I know that she is yearning to have a child and that they love each other but doesnt she realize he does not want to be a father again??? Maybe she does want his money...

Posted by: esmeralda at Sep 18, 2007 10:23:59 AM

if this is true, why bother having a kid with this man if he's said "I'm not going to be raising the kid, it'll be your thing"........other than securing a trust fund. sorry for the bluntness.

Posted by: me at Sep 18, 2007 10:45:28 AM

Wow he already has a 54 year old daughter and 52 year old son, who probably have teenage children, that would just be odd for them.

Hef is at an age where he could be enjoying great grandchildren, and grandchildren but looks to me like he is mostly enjoying beautiful blondes, lol.The only places his hands are all over has nothing to do with child rearing.
In all seriousness to become a daddy again at 84, well the thought has to be a bit odd. I think he is looking at this as giving Holly something she wants very much, a child. Let's face it, its not very likely he will be alive to see this child graduate high school.

I too think it a bit strange but to each his own. I could not live the way they all do together anyway. I like that they are going to attempt to give the child a normal upbringing, ie, no other girlfriends living there anymore. However, the idea that Hef will every be a monogamous man is pretty silly....

I'm not going to take this too seriously because the source is Star Magazine. But if it is true, Bridgette really did not portray Hef & Holly in a very good way. I'd be ticked if I were them!

Sarah's note: Yeah, that's why we didn't put it under rumor, because Bridget actually spoke with them.

I just don't understand why she wants so badly to have a baby with him. Obviously he has no apparent interest in taking part in the baby's life.
She is so beautiful and seems like a very intelligent young lady, however I just really don't get why she'd settle for a "deal" like that.

Posted by: Jada at Sep 18, 2007 11:51:49 AM

So, from the story it sounds like she really just wants Hugh to be a sperm donor for her......

Posted by: madison at Sep 18, 2007 11:53:06 AM

While this is certainly not a traditional situation (28 year old woman with an 81 year old man) Holly seems like a smart, genuine young woman who certainly is very maternal and loving.

If they do decide to have a baby he or she will be raised well with lots of love.

What makes this guy "father material"? He says he won't even be involved raising it! 2 of his other kids live next door, and apparently don't "visit all that much". It's unusual all right. Bet there are many Army families who would give anything for the proximity this group could be enjoying. Maybe the world, and the baby, will be lucky, and Holly will fall for someone who wants to raise a child with her.

I can see so many points of view in this situation.

Hugh--obviously, at 81 probably doesn't really want another child. However, it's obvious that he loves Holly more than anything in the world, and I think he'd do anything to make her happy. Especially when he knows that he's going to die one day and she'll be alone, if she doesn't have the baby.

Holly--she's a very intelligent girl. I'm sure she's aware that Hugh isn't at the ideal age to become a father. However, she can't change how old he is, she just loves him very much. She obviously wants to be a mother desperately, and she wants it to be with the man she loves. It's hard to be opposed to that.

Bridget & Kendra--this is an interesting perspective that I've always wondered about. Bridget hints that when Holly gets pregnant, she and Kendra will move out. Honestly, if I were those two, I'd be heartbroken. They did nothing wrong, they love Hefner too. But he chose Holly as his "number 1" and he's just going to dismiss them? They had to have known it was coming, and that's what happens when you're not in a monogamous relationship, but it still has to hurt. I'm sure Bridget & Kendra wanted kids someday, but it won't be with Hef apparently.

Honestly, I think Holly just wants an excuse to get the other girls out of the house. This is why this type of situation never works, the other women will always get jealous.

I have to admit that I do like the show, even if I don't approve of their living situation, and Holly is my favorite so good luck to her if she really wants a baby.

Posted by: Kaley at Sep 18, 2007 1:43:07 PM

Holly may strongly desire to be a mother, and I don't doubt her good intentions in that regard....but, she will be set for life even if Heff won't make her a wife, if she has a child of his. She won't be raising the child alone, she will have 4 nannies.
Also, I don't see anything nessessarily wrong with their living arangement, if it works for them. I also don't see a problem with bringing a child into it, as children thrive with lots of different influences and perspectives.
How many men 'give' their girlfriends/wives a baby because they rode them enough about it? At least he admits it. well, admitting it may be the worse thing about this situation, as now those words are in print and if there is a child, it could be hurtful to read an article like that about how you came to be.

Jada - one word: MONEY! I have always found Hugh Hefner's lifestyle to be grotesque.

Posted by: Maya at Sep 18, 2007 3:11:29 PM

The man do what he darn well pleases of course.......... but IMHO, he already pays very little attention to his two school-age boys with Kimberly Conrad, so why do the same to a new life????? And clearly he won't even be alive for the occasional photo op with the child for that much longer.
When Kimberly became a Mother, she dramatically changed, (as most of us women do,} but Hef did not..big surprise..lol. But I think he tried to fake it for about two years before Kimberly left him and took the kids....

"I'm not going to be raising the kid, that'll be your thing" Nice, Hef...

Has Hef ever been into family? I think he's always put business before personal life.

Holly must really love him, or just really want a baby or something. Me and my man talk about kids and he's lready excited to be there for the births, teach them new things, show them the world, etc, etc. I can't imagine being with a man who wouldn't want a part of that.

Posted by: Jen at Sep 18, 2007 5:39:00 PM

I'm usually pretty open-minded but Hef's harem of blonde woman really bother me. Especially considering the young impressionable son that sometimes lives wuth him.

Posted by: terri at Sep 18, 2007 7:33:59 PM

Hefner has stated publicly and without shame that he didn't enjoy fatherhood either time. He strikes me as one of the most selfish humans alive.

Imagine having a half-brother or sister who is twice your MOTHER'S age, and 5 times your own age.
