i wonder what she's having. I hope it's a girl..but i wouldnt know till she has it. But she looks very happy and healthy. She's a beautiful woman!

Perhaps it's the way the dress is, it's very flowy and hugs the body, but it looks like Nicole has popped! Not that she didn't have a cute bump before, but now it's much more pronounced. She looks great!

Girlfriend got boobies! She looks so good with the extra weight on her. I hope she doesn't go back to scary skinny after the baby is born.

It's nice to see a photo of her with actual weight on (by hollywood standard anyway) - she looks like a woman and not a ten year old child now. I hope for her own health she can hang onto it after the birth.

I am going to keep this post nice but, I saw the premier of Nicole and Paris at camp last night. I really hope that was a show she put on. What she said in front of yonge kids was inexcusable. I cannot believe this woman is going to be a mother. I hope she looks back and thinks wow that was wrong I hope that never is done to my child.
Since she got pregnant people hold her in this new light? poor Brit does not get this chance. Nicole was horrible last night on that show. Hope she has done som growing up.

My guess is girl, because it looks to me like she is gaining even in her face a little. I gained everywhere with my daughter. Time will tell, she looks fabulous!

I don't think we can compare Britney to Nicole, they're in two different stages. Britney is being wild now - as a mother. Nicole just got pregnant and I think ppl are just giving her the benefit of the doubt that she has changed (because she's calmer now). I think if after the baby is born she goes back to her old ways, then ppl will criticize her just as much as the do Britney.

But I do know that ppl can change and I hope that's the case with Nicole - it sure seems that way. Keep it up Nicole.

Maybe I am just used to celebrity pregnant moms just always touching their bellies.. but Nicole always has her arms to her side! Yeah, there is the one pic from the fashion show.. but I think it was more of a place to rest her arm than actual belly hug. She just comes across "distant" in all of the photo's we see of her- like she hasn't connected to this pregnancy. Anyone else feel this way?

I don't think not touching your bump means you don't connect to it - who knows what she does in her own time. Celebs posing touching their bumps is just posing, it doesn't mean they care any more or less. Good for her for just being as she is and not feeling the need to tout her belly for publicity.

I think Joel and Nicole are very guarded about their relationship in public. Sure they hold hands but i think thats about it. Just based on the fact that she literally follows Joel to every single show he does around the country when really she should be taking it easy at home just tells me that they are really involved and emotional about this experience. Joel was on Jack and Bendar earlier this week and just hearing him talk, i get the impression he is really exicted and talks about it all the time, but at the same time there was this restriant, like not wanting to reveal too much.

I think its so juvenile to say Nicole is not connecting with her pregnancy because there are no pictures of her touching her belly???
I mean she is surrounded by 43985 guys with cameras. and Joel is pratically dragging her to the car. Just based on how she looks and dresses, i think she is really enjoying the whole thing.

Aww...Nicole looks gorgeous...i really hope she does keep a bit of the weight though.She is a stunning girl with a bit of weight on her.Joel seems to have been a good influence on her.I really hope it all works out for these two and their baby,i really do.

i wonder how she is feeling emotionaly with this weight gain. She looks beautiful, but as someone who has suffered from an ED (not that she has...) i know how difficult it can be to watch your body grow and change. She got a lot of heat for being so thin, and im sure there was a reason she had gotten that way.

anyways just thought i would bring that up! As for the belly touching, i think its just silly to assume someone is not connected to their pregnancy just because she isnt always touching her belly.

I think both Nicole and Paris have certain poses that they like to do for the cameras to highlight their good features and the "hand-on-belly" shot was not in Nicole's former repertoire. I don't think it means anything other than she is used to posing for the cameras a certain way. Maybe once her bump gets really big she'll touch it more often. Maybe she doesn't touch it because whenever we see pictured of her she's in motion (either entering or exiting a place/car/etc). Whop holds their belly while they run around town?

Nice to see her looking so healthy! That said, I agree with the other posters who said it's just silly to think she's not connected with her pregnancy just because she never touches her bump. I mean, Samantha Harris touches her belly almost ALL the time, and people are always complaining that she needs a new pose. Now Nicole never touches HER belly, and people are saying she's not connected to her pregnancy? Honestly, people, why the double-standard?

That said, for some reason, I picture Nicole with a girl. I just can't see her with a boy.

Oh, and regarding comparing Nicole to Britney: Ordinarily, I am one to defend Britney...But in this case, to be fair I have to say that I agree that it is not right to compare the two. Britney is already a mother and still acts very wild. Nicole, on the other hand, really DOES seem to have changed.

I don't know about the tummy touching. I've never thought about it. People criticize women for touching their stomachs and now they're being criticized for not touching it enough.

Doesnt Nicole look the picture of health and happiness now.. Im so very happy she has got herself together and realised that she doesnt need to be waif thin to be beautiful... Aint that tummy sooo cute... Makes me wana try for another one myself!!! Congrats Nicole and Joel!!!
