New photos of Prince Hisahito of Japan
New photos of Prince Hisahito of Japan has been released by the Imperial Household Agency. The prince, who is the son of Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko will turn one tomorrow. The future heir to the Chrysanthemum Throne and third in line to the throne celebrated his first birthday with his family when Princess Kiko took her son to the Palace to meet his grandparents, the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Prince Hisahito was the first male heir to be born to the Japanese imperial family to be born in 41 years. The couple also have two daughters, Princesses Mako, 16 next month, and Kako, 12 1/2.
The Royal Household released some pictures (images from Hello and Profimedia) and also some details: Hisahito now weighs 9,285 grams and is 75 centimeters tall and has several teeth.
The prince can now express his feelings in various ways. He laughs when his family or other people speak to him and imitates other people's actions little by little. The prince is interested in things that make sounds and he touches the keyboard of a piano and beats drums and a xylophone with his elder sisters Princess Mako and Princess Kako. He also likes picture books.
