We have not looked at Stride Rite yet since Emma is into Pedipeds and Crocs but I am know coveting the Kaylie and Pandora from your post! The nearest Stride Rite is about an hour away but near my DH's workplace...do I really need to take her there to get the right fit or could he just pick up some shoes?

FYI...I bought a pair of Stride Rite shoes for my son that look similar to Pandora (the boy's version is called Prodigy). I thought the diagonal velcro strip was pretty cool-looking. However, the tops of the shoes scuff REALLY bad. My son's blue Prodigys are now gray over the toe area from the scuffing. Maybe my son is excessively hard on his shoes when he plays, but I went ahead and bought him a new pair of Stride Rite sneakers called Jetstream that have a much larger toe guard. The Prodigys have been relegated to outside play only now because they look so beat up.

I love Stride rite shoes...I love Pedipeds also, but they don't make my daughter size, since they only make babies sizes. i have a question: Do I need a coupon to get the 20% off at Stride Rite? Thanks!! I love this site!!!

Right now my daughter is wearing her Eliza in cranberry/print and also has crocs with fleece lining. Also just bought her some See Kai Run in Emelie which are super cute and comfy. Won't be needing shoes for awhile, on the waiting list for Stride-rite? Milena t-strap in silver/ballerina. She likes shoes she can take on and off.

My daughter Ava has the pink sneakers on the bottom right. She absolutely LOVES them! While trying on shoes at Stride Rite one day she gave everyone a show and ran around the store with about 7 different pairs on!

Does this sale apply to the Stride Rite outlet stores, as well?

Love the StrideRite shoes, but I hate the prices. $50 for a pair of shoes D will only wear a few months. Insane. I don't even like to spend that much on me and I'll keep them until they're worn through. I probably come off as sounding cheap, but I still find quality for decent prices. Thank goodness for ebay and Once Upon a Child where I found brand new never worn SR boots for $8.

I was also irriated that between three different so-called "Certified Fit Specialist" that they all had different opinions on the width of my son's feet. One said his feet are regular if not a bit narrow, one said his feet are wide if not extra wide and another said his feet are right between regular and wide. *throws hands in the air* I give up!

I think I'll give those cute PediPeds a try. They look pretty decent and are cheaper than SR. I also liked the SeeKaiRun shoes D had when he was just learning to crawl. Found those on ebay for $15. Not bad, but another shoe I won't pay retail for.

Thanks so much for the heads up! I've been meaning to grab my DD a pair of good sneakers since she started preschool this week. Now I have an excuse to hit Dillards and grab some Stride Rite sneakers this weekend! I'm loving the "Superball" shoes.
