InabaDancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba, 39, paid a visit to the ladies of The View as guest host and discussed her desire to have a family with boyfriend, Russian dancer Artem Chigvintsev, 25.

I’m 39, going on 40, and he’s 25. And he’s a good guy. But you know, I do worry, because I’m getting to the age where I’m thinking about having children. And we’ve only been dating for a year and a half, and it’s like, ‘Do I have to start pressuring him into that conversation?’ And so we have been talking about it, because I do feel like something is ticking.

Carrie is also concerned because she and Artem are at different stages in their lives.

I’m more the bread-winner right now, but I actually think that things will change. And I’m hoping they will, because I just can’t wait to get pregnant, sit home and each potato chips and not go to work anymore. I’m dying for that.

And while Carrie doesn't have to give up her career to have a family, if she had to, she would be okay with that.

I could give up my career to have a family, because I would love to raise a child.

Why does our society pressure women into having to reveal such personal decisions?

Something like that is way too personal to be used for talk show chit chat. But I hate it when noncelebs do that, too. Why embarrass your partner by airing your issues publicly ? I bet they break up soon.

at 39 she should be wondering if she can even HAVE kids, don't start thinking about it now! start thinking about it when you're 34 or 35...the longer ya wait, the harder it's gonna be!

I don't see how anything she said was bad. It wasn't too personal and be honest...a lot of couples have this same discussion at some point.
