Luongo

Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo, 28, and his wife Gina welcomed their first child, a daughter, on Thursday, March 27th. Gabriella was born at 5:30 pm and weighed in at 7 lbs, 6 oz.

Gina had experienced complications earlier in the pregnancy, but made it to her due date of Tuesday, March 25th. She was induced on Thursday.

Aww! Congratulations to both Gina & Roberto. I'm so glad that the birth went smoothly, especially since Gina had a difficult pregnancy! The name Gabriella is very pretty, it's funny though because I know a girl named Gabriella Luongo! haha. Anywhoo, Congrats!

Congrats to Roberto and Gina!!!!!!! That is so exciting! I can't imagine what he has been going through all season. He's an awesome guy and a fantastic goaltender!! This will definitely put a spring in his step tonight against Minnesota!!
