Melissa Joan Hart at the farmer's market

An overdue Melissa Joan Hart, 31, was snapped at the farmer's market in Studio City, CA, on Sunday. She and husband, rocker Mark Wilkerson, 30, expect their second child any day now, joining son Mason Walter, 2. Melissa has written a journal exclusively for CBB readers throughout this pregnancy.

Ahhh my friends had acne all throughout their pregnancies. She looks so uncomfortable!

Hey Sarah when is any day??? You had said the same thing for Soleil Moon Frye and I never heard about her 'til yet and its been more than a week on that?

Sarah's note: LOL, I have no idea when they will actually give birth. I don't think I ever said any day except for here, probably wasn't me that wrote that post? Melissa was due end of last week and Soleil said she was due within days of Melissa. Hopefully soon!

Looks like the little one is happy where he/she is.

He/She will come out when they're good and ready.

Normally in the uk, between 10-14 days they'll induce you.

Is it the same amount of days in the US?

She sure broke out! I hope that baby comes SUPER quick so she has some relief! If she doesn't have another boy i would be shocked!

Ok Sarah I will just have to wait and see :)

Wow she got bad acne, and she looks so big and uncomfortable. Hopefully she gives birth soon, pregnancy seems to always be hard on her. I bet this baby will be big like Mason was, and my bet is it's a boy.

Oh man, I feel bad that her face broke out. Same thing happened to me, I was overdue and I guess the hormones just went crazy, I don't know. My skin was glowing up until week 41!

I agree Rye, hope she has this little one soon so she can have some relief. She sounded more than ready in her last CBB journal!!

Carlie, yes, that's about the timeframe. Sometimes they'll do you earlier than the 10 days though, depends on your OB. I went into labor on my own at 41 weeks, 5 days.

I know this sounds silly, but I just love how she doesn't even try to cover the pimples, because she is just so down to earth it doesn't seem to faze her.

Cant wait to see her new bundle of joy soon...

I was exactly a week overdue and my OB/GYN had thought I should make an appt. with the hospital to be induced. I had no complications, but I was just uncomfortable and was complaining. Now, 10 years later I wish I just let nature take its course. My son was lethargic and had some complications when first born and the following 2 days (he's fine now), but I think all the drugs I was given might have caused that. Anyone out there with a similar situation?

I think she looks great...although a little uncomfortable.

Since when was 4 spots "bad acne" lol...

I broke out like that the week before I went into labour, hopefully its a sign of the hormones getting ready to start things off for her soon.

i don't have kids so all im thinking is how uncomfortable she must be.hope everything goes smoothly & she doesn't drop this kid in the middle of the market. i wouldn't want to be carrying anything on my shoulders either(i have a very low pain threshold lol) -she must be a tough cookie.

Maybe Melissa just takes a little while longer to make babies than average? My mum was a week overdue with all of us, except for one of my sisters who was 16 days late! The doctors said they'd induce on the Monday, but luckily my sister decided to make an appearance on the Sunday.

i'm breaking out like that now and i still have 2 months to go!! i love her - she seems so natural and it looks like she takes everything in stride. i can't wait to see her new little one.

Well, I am glad to see a celebrity who looks like a normal person! I always wondered what celebrities did to keep their "good" skin during pregnancy, because my skin went crazy pretty much throughout my whole pregnancy. It got even worse once my daughter was born. Not until about 8-10 weeks postpartum did it finally clear up...once all of those crazy hormones stabilized!

Now I'm pregnant with my second and so far no skin problems...maybe this one will be different :)

Who cares about her complexion? It's just one of those things that happens during pregnancy. I had it too. I'm glad she didn't try to cover them up as well...it shows she faces things just like anyone else does. I know she is sooo ready to have that baby. Those last few weeks are so hard!

Posted by: Jen at Mar 10, 2008 1:49:54 PM

Wow...she really doesn't look like she's dropped yet. Her belly looks high up and the best thing for her to do is be out and walking. I'm sure that little one is perfectly happy where he/she is and will debut when she/he is perfectly ready to. Best of luck to her and her family.

I keep waiting for the news that she gave birth! Wow, she looks really uncomfortable. I hope this baby comes out soon!

Well she's luckier than me! I've had lots of breakouts since I got the 2nd line on the stick!! The first 2-3 mos I had like 20 zits AT ONE TIME and normally I only get one once in awhile. Finally it calmed down and now at 25 weeks they are making their return (fun fun eh?).

I love how down to earth MJH is and she's one of my favs to read about on the site.

I didn't have bad breakouts with my son and I'm having a girl this time so I'm betting on a girl for her.

BTW My son was 16 days overdue.. and I had to BEG them to induce me on day 14... it took 2 days of labor to get him outta me! They def aren't inducement crazy here in Holland but I'm told they tried to say no to me because the hospital was 'overbooked'. Apparently it's like a hotel or an airplane eh? This time around my midwife says because my son was so big (4250 grams or around 9 lbs 5 oz in america) and the labor was so difficult on both of us that she won't let me go more than 1 week overdue. Thank goodness!
