Does the order of the list surprise you?
Your Comments
Aretha Franklin is really the only one that surprised me, only because she's hardly ever in the tabloids. I guess she's got IT, still. :) Oh and Gwen Stefani being at number 8. That's shocking! Britney Spears being number 1 is almost a given. I'm sooo glad Cher's on there!! I LOVE Cher!!
I did not know Shania Twain was a mommy! :o Where have I been? lol
Shania Twain has a son named Eja, he was born August 12, 2001. You don't see any pictures of him, as she is a very private person.
I think what the editors meant by asking "Does the order of this list surprise you?" is that Britney Spears is ranked #1--unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons. Doesn't make me feel too good about how our celebrity-obsessed culture is trending.
I'm surprised that Gwen Stefani comes into the search list after Aretha Franklin and Cher...especially since Gwen is currently pregnant.
And I was surprised to see Shania on the list because I haven't heard of any new music from her in a couple of years. Then again, maybe that's why she made the list. I've seen one pic of her son from several years ago, and he is a cutie. I don't think we'll see a lot of pics of him though, since Shania and Mutt live in Switzerland.
gwen should be 1...then madonna..and britney should be last
This order would surprise me if they were specifically talking about them being searched because of something to do with their mom status (like if I search Gwen Stefani to see pictures of her pregnancy style for example) but this is just most searched women who happen to be moms. Obviously most people who are searching for Aretha Franklin or Cher (to use the most obvious examples from the list) are doing it for reasons that have nothing to do with their mom status, it just so happens that they are.
