Actor Tom Cruise, 45, waved to photographers as he and daughter Suri, 2, prepared to enter a SUV after dinner at e. baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA on Friday, May 30th. They were also joined by mom Katie Holmes, 29, Katie's parents and Tom's two older children Isabella Jane, 15, and Connor Antony, 13.

Suri is so adorable!

Does anyone know what company those shoes are from that she is wearing? I love them!

Posted by: Nicole at May 31, 2008 1:59:02 PM

Cute!

Just Jared has a video and you can also see Connor and Bella, too. They appear at the very beginning of the video.

Posted by: Elena at May 31, 2008 2:21:34 PM

His arm is under her dress---and her dress looks like pajamas.

Posted by: Cleya at May 31, 2008 2:30:40 PM

They're not at a "medical center" they're leaving e. baldi restaurant in Beverly Hills! LOL!

Posted by: angie at May 31, 2008 2:48:22 PM

Suri is really adorable ! I would, though, suggest to cut her banks little as they are now covering her eyes and she can't see, and since her eyesight is still developing and may interfere with her seeing correctly.

Posted by: Nikka at May 31, 2008 3:27:55 PM

Wow, is Tom Cruise 45? I had to google him to confirm. He looks so young. I know he has been around for ages but he looks so young in this picture. Those are some fine genes.

Suri is a doll, her hair though should be cut from her eyes. May be tey are growing it to change her style.

Posted by: Maria at May 31, 2008 3:36:02 PM

What were they doing at the medical centre, any body know? Hope every one is healthy.

Posted by: Maria at May 31, 2008 3:36:48 PM

She's very cute, but why can't they trim her bangs or use some barrettes?

Posted by: luckymurre at May 31, 2008 3:39:51 PM

She is a really cutie. Looks likes she's wearing Pucci! How chic.

Posted by: carla at somethingaboutbaby.com at May 31, 2008 3:52:58 PM

Her shoes look so cool!!!

Posted by: Penny at May 31, 2008 4:25:09 PM

She looks so cute there!

And Cleya, what is your point exactly?

Posted by: kim at May 31, 2008 4:36:51 PM

Please cut that child's bangs so she can see!

Posted by: Aimee at May 31, 2008 4:55:14 PM

shes lovely:D but we cant see her eyes!

Posted by: blackrose at May 31, 2008 5:01:23 PM

I saw these pics on another site and it said they were leaving a restaurant. Not a big deal, just thought I would point that out.
Suri is too cute.

Posted by: Jennifer at May 31, 2008 5:24:36 PM

If I were Suri, I would be demanding that somebody cut my bangs and asking for socks with my shoes. But that's just me. I hate wearing shoes without socks and I hate my bangs in my eyes. She is an adorable little girl though.

Posted by: Carol at May 31, 2008 5:55:24 PM

is that a curtain on the car window??

Posted by: Lisa at May 31, 2008 6:00:46 PM

Suri's so beautiful with that hair and blue eyes. Dannielynn and Suri in my opnion are the prettiest girl babies

Posted by: brooke at May 31, 2008 6:06:07 PM

It looks like she has a nightie on. Her hair in her eyes must be so annoying. Time for a fringe(bangs) cut.

Posted by: Kresta at May 31, 2008 6:12:18 PM

does suri own socks, they never put socks on with her shoes how uncomfortable that must be

Posted by: sarah at May 31, 2008 6:30:36 PM

Suri is cute but needs a hair cut.

Posted by: Caturday at May 31, 2008 6:42:55 PM

Oh my, Suri is getting so big!! Her hair is getting long too, I hope Tom and Katie have another baby, I liked to see them have a little boy.

Posted by: Sarah at May 31, 2008 7:29:25 PM

People.com is reporting Katie's parents and Isabelle and Connor, were also there. They are reporting them getting into a car , after dinner.

not at a medical center.

Posted by: Whitney at May 31, 2008 7:29:55 PM

I think that dress is Pucci -- if so, those are some pretty expensive pajamas!!!

Posted by: Leslie at May 31, 2008 8:31:02 PM

I hope everyone is ok. That being said, I really wish they would either cut her bangs or let them grow out of her face.

Posted by: brannon at May 31, 2008 8:58:43 PM

Why are you commenting that his arm is under her dress? My husband holds our girls the same way and the dress goes up like that. Are you insinuating that it is inappropriate?

Posted by: Shawna at May 31, 2008 9:00:45 PM

She is really precious! I just hope that her bangs are like that because she is growing out her hair because its not cute on a baby

Posted by: ashley at May 31, 2008 9:53:23 PM

While the bangs are a little long maybe they are growing them out. I know when my oldest daughter was that age we were trying to grow hers out and even if we put barrettes in them chances are at some point she would take them out. As for the shoes my kids HATE socks so in the summer they rarely wear them even in shoes, those look like soft sole slipper shoes anyway but I may be wrong.

She really is a little cutie!

Posted by: jj at May 31, 2008 10:10:52 PM

I have no idea what the point is of Cleya's message and I can't believe all the people complaining about bangs. They grow fast and you don't always have time to do it or maybe she refuses to let anyone cut it. Same goes for the socks, if she was uncomfortable without them she would be crying, my guess is it's more likely she refuses to wear them.

Posted by: Sarita at May 31, 2008 10:27:57 PM

Oh, quit griping about her bangs. They're cute. Daddy and daughter have matching bangs. She's obviously in that stage of hair growing out that we all go through when we change our 'do.

I was more concerned that they were leaving a medical center, but now the caption has changed to e. baldi restaurant. Doesn't say much about their food, does it? :-P

Posted by: Stef at May 31, 2008 10:37:49 PM

Even if it's a PJ, its ok. Suri's parents are not famous for putting their child to the bed early, so she may fall asleep in the car on the way home and they will just move her to her bed. There is nothing wrong with how Tom holds her.

Posted by: Nikka at May 31, 2008 10:55:52 PM

When I look at this picture, the bangs in her face bother *me*. She needs some barrettes to pin her hair back...we can't see her face and can *she* even see? lol awww

Posted by: jasmine at May 31, 2008 11:04:19 PM

Suri is sure cute.
Anyone else notice how big her feet are?? She looks like she is in children sizes- not toddler.
Maybe it's just me?

Posted by: Leeah at May 31, 2008 11:15:31 PM

My kids all wore no socks with their leather shoes. It's how we do it here in Portugal. No child wears socks with a pair of sandals/mary janes/t-straps. They're doing fine with Suri. She's gorgeous.

Posted by: Shanna at May 31, 2008 11:24:40 PM

His arm is under her dress? Come ON, talk about nit picking. They do ride up you know.I think some posters should write a child rearing book since there are so many experts. Also if a parent chooses to cut or not cut their hair big deal. Maybe they are growing it out and she took the barrettes out. She is a beautiful little girl. Isn't that all that matters is she seems healthy and very loved?

Posted by: Bell at May 31, 2008 11:28:12 PM

My daught will be 2 in two weeks and I wanted to grow her hair out too. She would not leave the barrettes or headbands in her hair! We finally broke down and cut her angs a few weeks ago. I'm sure it's the same with Suri. She is a doll!

Posted by: Amber H. at Jun 1, 2008 1:21:57 AM

she's so cute! love her dress and shoes.
yeah, her bangs are getting long. she needs some Moo G Clips!

Posted by: Anna at Jun 1, 2008 4:09:05 AM

awww she is so beautiful, i can really see the resemblance to daddy in this pic!! like everyone else has said her hair could do with being trimmed or clipped back..but maybe they were and she pulled them out, my neice is terrible for doing that. lol.

Posted by: kimberley at Jun 1, 2008 6:11:11 AM

OK it wasn't a medical centre. I can see that on other sites. I love Suri's shoes. Any one with any info on them. She has to be the best dressed child I have seen. Very beautiful too.

Posted by: Maria at Jun 1, 2008 7:37:13 AM

Her bangs are getting a bit too long, but she still looks cute.

Posted by: Cheyenne at Jun 1, 2008 8:53:06 AM

Suri sure is growing and is quite a stunner! Tom and Katie seem to be simply wonderful parents...very doting and loving! The three children are blessed to have them in their lives!

Posted by: UggaMugga.com at Jun 1, 2008 9:00:20 AM

She such a cutie! I love the longer hair on her.

Posted by: Tara at Jun 1, 2008 9:09:56 AM

Oh good Lord people!! Quit picking on every little thing!!
So what if his arm wound up under her dress! That happens when you pick up little girls in dresses.
Ok her bangs are long. They may be growing them out and she doesn't like barrettes or headbands.. or maybe SHE likes them long!!
Socks... what if she took them off? So what if she doesn't have them on.
She is old enough at 2 to voice her opinion! If she doesn't like something I'm sure she will say it, cry, or use anyway to let them know! Can't we just quit picking?!

She's such a cutie :) And always looks happy and content to me...what else do you want from a child?

Posted by: Crystal V at Jun 1, 2008 11:46:51 AM

would like to see Suri in a pair of Crocs just once. LOL!

Posted by: d at Jun 1, 2008 12:21:17 PM

Suri looks cute! (As always) but I have to agree, either cut her bangs, or, if Katie is letting Suri's bangs grow out, which I assume, so she can have a 'big girl haircut', then at least they should use some hairclips to avoid her bangs shielding her view. Plus, the fashionista that Katie is, she can even make some nice fashion statement by using sweet accessories to emphasize Suri's style.
But I'm wondering about one thing, does somebody else also think her shoes look huge? Either it is the angle of the shot, or she really has some huge feet for a toddler. If so, I guess she will be at least as tall as Katie is. Well, I guess time will tell.

Posted by: Sunnykidstyle at Jun 1, 2008 2:55:38 PM

so what if her bangs are a little long? i don't think it's a big enough deal to warrant 30 different people pointing it out. suri looks like she might have been napping and i'm sure that sleeping with clips in your hair is pretty uncomfortable. tom and katie are perfectly capable of deciding when to cut their child's hair so i don't think we need to worry about it.

p.s. she's so cute. i can't believe how big she's getting!

Posted by: Sarah at Jun 1, 2008 3:06:05 PM

Suri is beautiful but growing up with a mother as a hair dresser bangs in the eyes drive me crazy!!! I think it's fine to let her bangs grow out but if Suri refuses to wear barrettes then I suggest keeping bangs until she's old enough to understand the barrette/clip concept! When she starts walking into things or tripping because she can't see (and yes I've seen it happen)then maybe they'll think about one of those options. Nonetheless she's a cutie pie!

Actually with all the flashing cameras that can harm a young child's eyes, it may be better that her hair is in her eyes to offer some protection to her eyes. That is one of the things that worries me the most with all the papparazzi taking pictures of children- the constant flashes from the cameras. I have heard of studies showing that constant light flashes such as this can lead to seizures in some children. See

If she's anything like my two year old, she probably had barettes in at the beginning of the evening but by now they'd be long gone!!! We're growing her bangs out and it's a struggle to constantly keep them out of her face.

Posted by: Catherine at Jun 1, 2008 6:55:29 PM

Crystal V, I couldn't have said it better myself. You are right on with your comment!

Posted by: Jasmine C. at Jun 1, 2008 10:01:44 PM

I hardly think anyone is picking over little things about this picture of Suri, I am sure its just a harmless opinion.

The bangs annoy me a little too, but they may be growing them out and little girls look sooo cute with long bangs. The shoes make me cringe a little because leather sometimes causes blisters, especially in summer when you sweat, but as long as they don't it doesn't really matter.

All that matters is that Suri looks happy and is sooo adorable and cute and turning into a beautiful little lady.

Posted by: Audrey at Jun 2, 2008 9:57:11 AM

She is a gorgeous child - very much like her very pretty mummy but I have to ask, does anyone else seem to notice that for a young toddler, she seems to be out at dinner a lot?
