Tags: Dads , Kids

L.A. Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant, 29, smooched 2-year-old daughter Gianna Maria-Onore as they walked around Disneyland on Thursday, June 26th. Kobe and wife Vanessa are also parents to Natalia Diamante, 5 ½.

I love when little children are so ho-hum about getting kisses from their parents. It shows that it's nothing new and is a frequent occurrence and nothing special...which is great!

I remember photos of Jennifer Garner kissing Violet and her having the same expression a year or so ago. Any now daughter is the same age and has the same ho-hum expression when loved on throughout the day.

It's great to see that confidence in love a child has...makes them so secure!

Whenever I see a picture of Kobe Bryant, all I remember is the turmoil he caused in 2003-
he had an affair, and the woman accused him of assault as well.
Even though this is a nice picture, it's hard to forget that incident and the sadness and confusion it must have caused in the household.

His daughter looks a lot like him, nothing of the mom in her looks. I love the name Gianna

Valerie, I think all is forgiven by now. I am surprised your comment slipped through since I thought only positive comments were allowed.

Kobe seems like an amazing father. A very handsome one too!

I agree with you Annie...all is forgiven and top of that...Kobe isn't the first and won't be the last. This is a beautiful picture of him and his youngest baby!!! Love to see daddies and their babies.

She looks like a mini Minnie-mouse !!!

Valerie -- I agree with you -- I can't ever NOT think about that incident either. Probably because my youngest brother was the hugest Kobe fan up until that point, but NOT since. I know lots of people who are in the public eye do stupid things but he really was a hero to lots of little kids. My little bro took all of his Kobe posters off of his wall. (And I could not have been more proud of him for doing that!!)

Valerie and mmh I have to respectfully disagree. All is forgiven. Kobe was 23 at the time turning 24. He is now about to 30. Men in general are very immature especially famous ones. I think it's wonderful to see him with his daughter. It would be ridiculous to think that he is the same man that he was at age 24 than 30. He and his family have come a long way. He has paid his dues. Much love to his beautiful little girl!

I totally disagree with Valerie. Nobody except God should be judging Kobe. He made a mistake and he was EXTREMELY sorry for it. There are only two people that need to accept his apology and thats GOD and his Wife Vanessa. Gid forgives us for our sins and Vanessa forgave Kobe. Nobody elses opinion matters. Not only that...He was young and made a MISTAKE. We all make MISTAKES and to hold ONE MISTAKE against someone for a life time is wrong. U wouldnt want anyone to hold a mistake against you forever. Nobody is perfect including Kobe. Everyone needs to move on from that and your brother needs to be taught that EVERYONE makes mistakes and should be forgiven. At least Kobe manned up and admitted his wrong doing and he put his life back together. People need to learn to get past something that happened years ago and especially something that has nothing to do with them. I think Kobe showed he is HUMAN and made a huge mistake..now if he kept on doing it then I could see your point.....

She is too cute! Kobe and Vanessa have some adorable girls!

I think you people need to take your negative comments somewhere else. This site is for celebrities and their children..ONLY! Kobe seems like a very devoting and loving father and that's all that really COUNTS!!

Kobe did what most other professional athletes have done and continue to do, not that it makes it ok. He just got caught with someone who wanted to cash in on it, both attention wise and monetarily.

To all of you who can't get past Kobe's past, can you still recall that Kobe's accuser showed up to a medical exam with physical evidence that she had been with another man AFTER her encounter with Kobe? This exam occured the after the ALLEGED rape. How nasty. Can you also recall that she is an American Idol reject, who has a history of mental issues and even bragged about her encounter with Kobe to her friends?

If Vanessa forgives him then who are we to cast judgement upon him? Especially considering the fact that we've all made mistakes, lacked good judgement and done things we wouldn't want to come to light.

Kudos to Kobe and Vanessa for displaying class and maturity and for maintaining a sense of dignity while raising to adorable and seemingly well behaved little girls (I was in attendance at a home game where they were present this year) and witnessed it personally. You two rock!

Janelle and Tammie...thank you for your comments. If we continue to hold his past mistakes against him, we do a disservice to society as a whole. Everybody makes mistakes and should be allowed to grow and learn from them. He seems to be a very loving father and he and Vanessa appear to be very much in love in all the pictures I see. They have put it in the past and moved on. So should everyone else.

That said, that is such a cute picture. Kobe loves his girls. They are absolutely adorable. I wonder if they will try one more time for a boy? It would be nice to see a mini-Kobe running around with his sisters.

I don't think there's any reason to trash Kobe or his accuser. It's really unnecessary.
