Update: The Biggest Loser's Kai Hibbard Zwiestra expecting first child, a son

KaiUpdate: The baby is a boy, to be named Jacob Lawrence after his father and grandfather. Jacob is due to arrive on October 25th.

Originally posted April 29th: Kai Hibbard Zwiestra lost 118 pounds throughout her journey on The Biggest Loser during season 3, has gotten married and is now ready for the next chapter in her life -- becoming a mother.

Kai has announced that she is 15 weeks pregnant with her and husband Jake's first child, due in late October.  To view a picture of the ultrasound, click here.

Hey CB, I just wanted to thank you guys so much for posting stuff from the BL show! I am a HUGE fan of that show and I always wonder how the people do once leaving the show. I know they aren't "real" celebs but it is still really nice to hear about them! I was so excited when I saw you guys post about Julie and now Kai, this is great! Thanks again I totally appreaciate it :o)!

This is an update post so she was 15 weeks back in April. Now she's 21 weeks.

I wanted to add that it is possible to find out the sex at 15 weeks. I was a few days before 16 weeks when I found out we were having a boy. A friend also found out she was having a girl around the same time in her pregnancy. So it's possible with a good tech & a clear picture. :)
