CBB reader spots Gwen Stefani at LAX

Gwen_stefani_cbbjpg Looks like the latest Stefani-Rossdale co-production won't be making a UK debut after all! CBB reader Laura spotted Gwen Stefani in the customs line at LAX airport on Monday, and told us about her sighting.

While Gwen's very pregnant, she does not look huge. She was extremely gracious to all the young girls that wanted to have a photo with her -- not sure I'd feel the same way after a 10 hour flight with a toddler!

Gwen and husband Gavin Rossdale expect their delivery surprise later this month.

Thanks for a fun report CBB reader. I am surprised that she was allowed to fly, unless she was on a private plane.

wow, so she's back in the States. Guess the baby will be born in the USA?

I didnt think you can fly so late into her pregnancy, that it's not safe for the baby and the mother's decision fly could endanger it

Posted by: Molly at Jul 8, 2008 5:20:18 PM

Its not that its specifically unsafe for the baby, its just that there's more of a chance of going into labor on the plane if you're closer to your due date. She must have had a doctor's permission to fly.

I don't think that flying endangers the baby. Airlines prefer that late term pregnant women not to fly because of the possibility of early labor. I thought Gwen was due within a month. That seems risky. I wouldn't like the idea of giving birth on an airplane.

That is so sweet of gwen to pose with fans, while heavily pregnant and after a flight. She seems like such a cool lady, I have always liked her.

I wonder if Gwen will have her next baby around the same time as Angelina has her twins? Wasn't Kingston born just the day before Shilo?

she seems so great ten hour flight, and still she poses with fans
Just like when she was supporting Federer on Sunday at Wimbledon, she kept cheering right till the end, even though it went on and on, she looked so tired, but she kept on going.

Claire,

Whenever I saw Gwen at Wimbledon she was never cheering or even smiling heehee. She looked thoroughly exhausted at the end of the final! Or maybe she just didn't like the camera on her! I love Gwen, can't wait til the birth announcement. I'm thinking she might have a little boy!

Oh, what a surprise! Quite interesting Gwen was able to fly at such a late stage in her pregnancy. Lucky she made it okay, and I guess it will be a USA-born baby!
