Every picture I see of her daughter it looks like she's wearing make-up.

they are such a gorgeous family.

Gorgeous family!!

Kaia is beautiful! wish i could see Presleys face better but he looks like a very handsome boy.

Posted by: a at Jul 21, 2008 7:21:36 PM

Her daughter surely is beautiful! I don't think she looks like she is wearing makeup in this photo- just the beautiful skin of a child.

Posted by: Ginger at Jul 21, 2008 7:47:19 PM

No, she is wearing makeup. They've said before that they let her put on makeup.

Posted by: Sally at Jul 21, 2008 8:25:50 PM

Their son's hair is a gorgeous colour! He is indeed a looker like his parents! I bet tons of women pay hundreds of dollars to get that colour! The daughter is a mini-me of her mother, simply gorgeous too, and who cares if she is wearing make-up. Mum's wearing make-up and it's a bit hypocritical to tell the daughter she can't wear make-up because she's "too young." It is not like she slathere on blush and foundation, I can see a bit of nail polish, lip gloss and maybe some eye shadow unless that's a crease shadow in big beautiful eyes.

I saw an interview the other day with Cindy and Rande and it sounds like Rande wants Presley to keep his hair long and Cindy wants to cut it. I guess he agrees with Presley in keeping it long

Posted by: Laura at Jul 21, 2008 8:46:31 PM

Geez what's the temp in Malibu they looked dressed for fall!!! It's like 95 here in Philly and even at night it's still only about 75!! Not enough to make me put on a jacket or wear my Uggs lol. It has to be hot there too!

Posted by: JM at Jul 21, 2008 8:50:29 PM

I remember once Cindy saying that when people ask when they'll cut Presley's hair Rande says "over my dead body". haha its definitely Rande keeping the long hair :)

I wonder if they will have another child. I read Cindy said she would decide this year whether or not to have another one (she said that in 2007).

Posted by: m at Jul 21, 2008 9:29:45 PM

wow, her 6 year old's purse is as big as mine!

Posted by: erinbeth at Jul 21, 2008 11:36:59 PM

Cindy has such a beautiful family. My god her daughter is not even 7 yet, and so beautiful, imagine when she is older, she will be gorgeous just like her mom. Her son is handsome, both kids favor cindy a lot look wise. Cindy doesn't age, she's so beautiful just like she was years ago when she started modeling. I don't think she will have anymore babies, I remember her saying she was lucky to have a boy and a girl, and she is happy with 2 children.

i should think that at 9 years old it's presley's choice whether or not he cuts his hair...

i can't believe that kaia is only 6!! she looks 15! maybe it's the earrings and purse. i have no problem with what she's wearing (looks great!) but personally i like little kids to look like little kids, not mini adults. both those kids are going to be gorgeous adults!!

Posted by: amandamay at Jul 22, 2008 1:09:37 AM

There kids are beautiful

But i do think it's a big deal that a 6 year old is wearing make-up. It wouldn't hypocritical at all for a 42 year old to tell a 6 year old not to do something she is doing. If you follow that line of thinking then you can't tell a kid not to drink, drive, date....etc

No need for little girls to look like grown women.

Posted by: SeanJay at Jul 22, 2008 3:08:03 AM

that girl is always in a full face of make up. I think it is a bit over the top and in conjunction with some other things (like the sexy swimsuit modeling she had her do) my image of Cindy has been tainted- I think make up for fun and dress up is ok, but I have yet to see a picture of this 6 year old out with less make up on then me and I am 32.

Posted by: maggiemomma at Jul 22, 2008 6:43:58 AM

I think Kaia just has a natural glow honestly, that looks like makeup. I don't think she would be allowed to wear makeup yet.

Posted by: tink1217 at Jul 22, 2008 7:25:40 AM

I can't tell if she is wearing make-up, but if so, I do not think it's appropriate to let a 6 year old wear make-up for anything other than dress up. This is clearly not dress up. It has nothing to do with being hypocritical. It's called being a parent. Parents do a lot of things (sex, drink, drive, albeit not all at once) that would be totally inappropriate for a 6 year old to do. i am a little surprised, honestly, as i would never have expected her to allow this as a parent.

Posted by: Lenny at Jul 22, 2008 11:00:07 AM

Um, for those of you saying it's Kaia's nice complexion and not makeup, I am NOT looking at her complexion, rather her eyes and lips and it's clear to me that she is wearing makeup. Besides that, I find the whole way she is dressed to be a little over the top for a 6 yr-old. Do you see the expression on that little girl? It's as if she's excited to pose for the photogs...I'm not so sure Cindy is teaching her that beauty is not everything...

Posted by: Cat at Jul 22, 2008 11:27:11 AM

How is Kaya dressed like a mini-adult? Her shirt has a big butterfly and stars on it! Pretty child-like if you ask me. Besides, nothing wrong with kids dressed like mini-adults as long as its not provacative. Kids deserve to look trendy and stylish too.

Posted by: lauren at Jul 22, 2008 11:33:57 AM

I dont see anythign wrong with the way shes dressed. my 4 year old wears jeans and uggs and carries her little purse and sometimes, when i am putting on my make up, she wants gloss on. not a big deal, everything in moderation.

Posted by: Monika at Jul 22, 2008 11:38:51 AM

I don't see anything wrong with the way she is dressed Cat. Jeans and a long sleeve shirt doesn't seem too inappropriate to me.

Just saying what is said in every other topic/argument...she's THEIR daughter. If they let her wear makeup then so be it.

Posted by: Jacky at Jul 22, 2008 11:41:25 AM

Looks like a family of supermodels. Can't see much of her son's face but they all look beautiful.

Posted by: Kait at Jul 22, 2008 11:43:32 AM

I, too, see nothing wrong with the way this little girl is dressed. How are a butterfly tee shirt and jeans "mini adult?"

As for the makeup, one could almost make the same comment about her brother Presley. Look at the picture. The two of them share the same creamy complexion, dark eyelashes and rosy lips - you can see it even though Presley's face is partially obscured. So, I really just think it's their natural coloring. At most, maybe Kaia's wearing a little lip gloss, which hardly counts as "a full face of makeup."

Posted by: Jessica at Jul 22, 2008 11:54:50 AM

The girl has the nails painted, and the boy too. Look closely.

Posted by: kily18 at Jul 22, 2008 1:44:15 PM

They look like a beautiful happy family to me.

For reasons that are not clear, there seems to be a fair bit of criticism when it comes to Cindy and her children. It bugs me! We don't even know if Kaia is wearing make-up, and so what if she is? It may not be something I would allow, but it hardly makes Cindy a bad mother.

It must be so frustrating to be in the public eye and be picked apart. It's one thing to do it to an adult, but it really bothers me when the target is a child!!!

When I'm babysitting I occasionally (with permission from the parents) put a little colored lip gloss and eye shadow on the girls when we're going out to the park or the store. It's fun and harmless. Cindy probably gets tons of free makeup for promotions. I bet she gives a lot of it to her daughter.

Posted by: Carrie Jo at Jul 22, 2008 5:06:58 PM

While I do think Kaia seems to have lip gloss on, I don't think she has eye or face make-up. I had the same colouring as her when I was a kid, with dark eyebrows and eyelashes, if you'd look at pictures of me you'd probably think I had make-up on too.

Nice-looking family. But to me, a six-yr-old should not be wearing full on makeup out in public- too JonBenetish for my taste. I've no problem with using it within the home around family/friends for girlie time, but for a young girl of six, it smacks of growing up before one's time- she's NOT a teen- she's six! With that said, to each their own.
