They are growing up so fast! How cute are they though? I think Henry really has come into his own and is just getting more handsome every day and Leni is so sweet. Probably gets lots of snuggles from mom!

Henry has such a great smile. The darker hair, made possible perhaps by the effect of indoor lighting, looks good on him. I do think we see in this photo, a foreshadowing of the handsome man that he will most definately become.

What a fabulous picture. Could Leni be a more vivacious child? Its nice to see kids entertaining themselves without the use of handheld electronics.

I agree that Henry is a tall little man! He's going to be so handsome. And Miss Leni is just precious and looks like she just has that joie de vivre. A lovely family, indeed.

I just read in Instyle magazine that Heidi's daughter is called Helene. The article didn't once refer to her as Leni, but I have only ever heard of her being called Leni in the past!

Is this a fact, and she just always goes by her nickname, or has Instyle got it wrong?

I'm just curious! Here in the UK there is a famous comedian called Lenny Henry so I always giggle at the combination, it will kind of spoil it if her real name is Helene ;)

Helene is a beautiful name ( i have to say that because it's my name too), but i have always thought that it was a little too classic for little girls. My mom often used nicknames too when i was younger, and I understand that Heidi's late grandmother was named "HELENE" but that she called her Oma Leni, so she named her daughter Helene but calls her Leni, which is in my opinion the cutest nickname ever.

Leni is pronounced LAY-knee, not Lenny like the comedian.

Instyle got it wrong, Heidi has said her daughter's name is just Leni, after Heidi's grandmother. Leni usually is short for Helene though and I think Helene probably was the grandmother's full name, so I guess Instyle got it half right. ;)
Btw, the pronounciation of Leni is similar to that of "Laney" (it's slightly different, but it's difficult for me to explain it in English), so it's doesn't actually sound like Lenny at all. :)

Is it just me? I feel like Leni has been 4 and that size forever and Henry seems to have gone from a baby to a big boy over night. He looks as old as her. It just seems like the boys are growing up so much faster. Leni is like a little doll she has looked the same for such a long time.

This picture reminds of me Lambada, i dont remember the kids names (one was maybe Roberta...??) She was blond, her brother was black, and they danced away and it was just adorable !!!

I agree that the two of them together make such a beautiful photo opportunity. Leni has the golden hair. Henry has the rare bronze skin tone. He like Alex Rodriquez, Beyonce, Will Smith and Barack Obama, have the great fortune of having a natural coppertone coloring. The two of them together, combine the best of both worlds.
