I was totally WRONG about my delivery surprise!! I, along with everyone else, thought she was a boy. My MIL didn't believe my hubby when he came out and told the room ful of people. Everyone was shocked that we had a darling little girl!

I gave birth in August 2006 to a beautiful baby boy but all through my pregnancy I had an incline I was having a girl. How strange. My feelings were so strong. Even my husband said it was a girl.

I was shocked when I heard the words "its a boy!"

I wouldnt change him for the world! x

I was right all 5 times (boy, boy, girl, girl, boy), although my feelings for #2 shifted every other week or so for the first 4 months. Then I was sure he was a boy! I have no idea why I was right, but I'm glad I was..I've had 3 totally different pregnancies. The last 3 are triplets, so we had the hardest time convincing the doctors we DIDN'T want to find out the sexes! We had some crazy reactions towards that decision. It was hard on the naming part (we still had to think of 12 names in case I was wrong (12 = 2 names per child, so 3x2girls + 3x2boys)), but in the end, it was sooo worth it!

I was right both times (boy, boy) although both pregnancies were totally different.

BUT I woke up both times sometime at around week 18 in sweat and couldn't go back to sleep until I had found names for girls lol... because right from the start I only had boys' names....

We found out during the 2nd trimester ultrasounds, but my gut feeling was wrong every time. Our neighbor had a delivery surprise with all 3 and she knew every time. Go figure. :)

I was right.

I was wrong with every one of my three pregnancies. I thought the first was a girl (it was a boy), the second was a girl (it was a boy), and I was convinced by then that the third was a boy and was surprised that it was a little girl. I'm not very good at this but I predict a girl for Minnie, as well. That means she will probably have a boy, lol.

Two delivery surprises, and I guessed right both times. The first I had no inclination until the last week of pregnancy, when it just hit me like a ton of bricks, I just *knew* it was a girl (but was still surprised to hear it confirmed when she was born!). The second I also guessed girl, pregnancy was excatly the same, and at my 20 week US the tech slipped at one point and said "there's her abdomen" and quickly corrected himself to say "the abdomen". It was a 50/50 shot that he really slipped up, but in my gut I knew it really was a mistake, I had no doubt it was another little girl.

I guessed correctly each time. The first was a boy, the second a girl.

I was sooo wrong. During my pregncancy every close friend and family members (especially from my husband side-he has lots of nephews and no nieces)were saying that i'll have a girl, i wasn't wishing for a boy just against them i figure out that so many poeple want for this baby to be a girl that it definitely will be a boy and the way my daughter played football the last four month convinced me even more that it would be a boy. I even had chosen boy's name. When she was born my husband through lots of tears said that we have a girl i was just delighted to have a healthy child didn't care if it was a girl or a boy. I thought she will be Erik so now we have gorgeous and happy Erika :-)))

I'm thinking a boy, but it's going to be another 7 months before I find out, haha. My husband wants to find out, but I have the final say and I want a delivery room surprise. I know it's a surprise either way, but I've always wanted to hear it in the delivery room for some reason.

I was talking to my friend's mom last night, and she was telling me that for the first 8 months she was sure she was having a girl, but then she had a dream she was having a boy so she changed her mind. She was so sure she was having a boy that when the doctor announced "It's a girl!", she insisted he "check again," haha.

I guess right too -- boy. I would have probably been in shock if they had said girl!! I just KNEW it was a boy!! (Although would have loved a girl too, of course.)

I had a HUGE sweet tooth while pregnant (usually into salty stuff) and my son is a huge sweet tooth, so Minnie shouldn't put too much into what her mom said!

My mom started making a pink blanket he day after I found out I was pregnant. She knew it was a girl, and she was right.

I hope she's right. I guessed right both times.

We just had our 2nd surprise baby on June 17th. I knew it was a boy this time and I was right. I was wrong with our first though, I thought it was a girl for sure and I gave birth to a healthy baby boy!

When my niece and nephew were born, I was right with my niece, but wrong with my nephew. I thought my sister-in-law was going to have a girl, but it turned out that it was a boy.

though late on in my 1st pregnancy(i thought i was having a boy) i had a very vivid dream of having a little girl via emergancy c-section,had goose bumps when i recalled my dream,a few weeks later i went into labour and went on to have an emergancy c-section due to babys distress....and it was a little girl!!
had a similar dream late on in my 2nd pregnancy(i thought it was a girl)i dreamt i had a vaginal delivery and had a boy.....
yeah my subconsious was spot on again!
in the last 3 pregnancies it was a case of having the opposite of what i wanted/predicted.....G,B,B!

I think some people are way more intuitive than others. I know some people who have gone from knowing the sex RIGHT AWAY from gut feelings and being exactly right to people who have no idea. I think it's just stronger in some people than it is with others. I remember Kate Hudson being on David Letterman when she was fairly close to the end of her pregnancy and he asked if she was having a boy or a girl and she said she didn't know but that she was "feeling a masculine vibe" and she was right. Some people just get those vibes!

With my first one I just knew I was having a girl. Just a feeling I had inside. I bought all girl stuff, had all girl name and had a girl. I was right.

I don't have kids yet, but I've got a knack for guessing other people's babies. My girlfriend's sister was having a delivery surprise and everyone, including the mum to be thought it was going to be boy, except for me and low and behold I was right. She had a girl.

My mum, when she was pregnant with me and my brother, she was right both times. She knew I was a girl and bought all pink, even though my dad thought I was a boy. When my brother came along, she knew he was a boy and bought all blue stuff.

I was wrong with my daughter. I was convinced throughout my pregnancy that I was having a boy. So when the doctor said, "It's a girl?!" I said, "It's a WHAT?!" I was so surprised.

I knew from the moment I found out that I was pregnant that I was having a girl. Alhough I found out the sex before delivery, I'm the proud mommy to a healthy 7 week old baby girl! My intuition was right.

I am due in 7 weeks - i think i have a boy well am sure i do but only time will tell!! I already have two boys but found out with both of them!

I knew I was having a girl when I first found out I was pregnant. My husband had told me before we'd gotten married that he wanted a daughter born in July or August, and we ended up with a daughter due in July and born in August. Baby #2 is due in January and I'm fairly certain this one is a boy. We'll see if I'm right again!

I was totally wrong! I was convinced I was having a boy...two years later, I am delighted with life as a mom of a girl, I'd love more. But...I doubt I will trust my intuitions on that matter again. :-) We referred to her as "he" the whole pregnancy.
That said, I loved not knowing for sure and will definitely keep future babies as delivery surprises.

I am someone who hates surprises, so I wanted to find out. With my first, I was convinced it was a girl. When we went to the ultrasound, the baby kept its legs closed, so we couldn't tell. I was depressed the whole pregnancy, because I wanted to be able to decorate the nursery in girly colors and buy dresses. We only even came up with girl names. The day before I went into labor, my doctor sent me to have an ultrasound because of potential problems with the baby (turns out they were unfounded). After waiting 9 months, I couldn't stand it anymore, and had to know what kind of going home outfit to pack for the baby. It was a girl. Kind of anticlimatic, but still put my mind at ease.

Rumor is she is having a girl, but doesn't wanna confirm it, so it probably is a girl.

i was totally convinced i was having a girl. i dreamed of girls, i just "knew" it would be a girl. BOY! the only time the idea of a boy came into my mind was during a trip to hawaii, where i was closer to nature, not bombarded by advertising or outside influence. when it was just me, my body & my baby, i had an idea that it might be a boy. perhaps this is a lesson in listening to that still, small voice inside. intuition. my mom, on the other hand, was sure it was a boy. she even dreamed of the name we did, eventually call him (no, we didn't name him that on purpose).

I was spot on....all the old wives tales pointed to me having a little girl and deep down i just knew I was having a girl, so I wasn't surprised in the least when at my 19 week scan I was informed that yes, I was expecting a daughter, I have a gut feeling too that if I decide to have another bub one day that I will have another little girl, but I guess I will have to wait and see on that one...I have boxed up all my daughters little pink newborn clothes in case she does indeed get a baby sister one day

I was wrong too, thought for sure I was having a girl probably because I wanted a girl so bad, I wanted the relationship with a little girl like my mother and I have. I am of course happy I will be having a boy..but these intuition stories are just silly..you have a 50/50 chance so either you guess wrong or you guess right. There is no craving that means you are having a girl or how you are carrying it depends on your body bottom line!

I was so sure I was having a girl. I even had many vivid dreams that it was a girl. I just felt it! Everyone I knew told me I was having a girl, too, judging by the way I carried high, my clear skin, I was glowing, I craved sweets, etc...I heard them all! And everyone was so positive that I was having a girl, which just fed the belief that I was correct.

Imagine my surprise when the baby finally came out and was announced as a "little prince." I kept waiting for the final "ss" syllable. Everyone that was waiting at the hospital was totally surprised, too. Even my grandma, upon hearing it was a boy, asked, "are you sure?" heh. She then asked if I was disappointed. Of course not! He was a fine, healthy baby whom I could not love any more than I do, girl or boy!

first time i was right (boy), second i was wrong (thougt it was a girl, turned out to be a boy). because these were two totally different pregnancies, i thought it must be two different sexes. i was wrong. so my personnal question is: what is the reason for feeling good or not good during a pregnancy?

I was right. I had an overwhelming sense that I was carrying a boy. We kept him a delivery surprise, but it was no surprise when the midwife announced, "A boy!" Also, I completely lost my sweet tooth and craved salty and spicy things. Ice-cold, salty tomato juice and jalapeño.

since the day i did the pregnancy test,everybody kept telling-it's a girl.then i was sick for two month and all my friends who have babies keep telling me that if i am sick it'll be definitely a girl.or becouse i didn't crave something spicy-it's a girl.or becouse of the shape of my belly-it's a girl.but i felt in a diferent way.for some reason i was looking just at baby boys outfits,afcourse we got everything suitable for both genders(white,cream,yellow)but i secretly bought blue hat and a little shoes with a cars on it...and when my baby was born,they put him on my chest and then said"perfect male",the first words came out from my mouth was"afcourse a boy"

I was convinced that my first child (my only delivery surprise) was going to be a boy, and when she came out and the doctor said "It's a Girl!", my husband and I looked at each other like we didn't know what to do. 3 years later, we have had a boy and another girl, and we didn't wait long to find out what we were having.
I felt like there was too much room for disappointement when we didn't find out. It made it easier that she was our first child, and I am sure that it would have been different if we had 3 girls and we really wanted and were expecting a little boy. Either way, of course, we were happy, but it was just a little shocking.

I did have ultrasounds, but we didn`t know the sex with our kids until the last one. I just knew in my bones that I was having a boy each time and I was right both times!
